Nobody knows what they're supposed to be looking at with bg3. it was a belt & road scam marketed as the next dragon age, when it's not even half a divinity game.

it's pretty good but I still think BG2 is the best. but BG3 is better in other ways with stuff like environmental reactivity and it's sandbox. it's close to an immersive sim in that regard which is pretty neat despite it's worse main story
