How do we go back?
How do we go back?
what is preventing you from playing older games and making your room look like this?
We don’t. Time is only moving forward and so do we.
Satan
What the actually wants is zero responsibility, someone taking care of him and no Internet forcing him to socialize more.
I really wanna remake my 90s room (from the early/late 2000s)
I still have my windows XP computer which im saving for this very purpose
One day ill have a bigger house and im gonna recreate my old room
Past present future
oh look it's that drone again who tries to convince you that modern gaming isn't actually garbage and that it's all in your head. Op is a bit of a nigger but you're 100% one.
no spaghetti on the floor
that is some nasty overscan
That image just screams
Hello fellow millennials
to me
Chinhelds are the new retro trend.
by going forward
modern gaming isn't actually garbage and that it's all in your head
People who think like that makes me really sad, cause modern gaming is really garbage.
why did they bring surge back only to take it away again? I want my fucking surge dammit
Invite your friends over to play Mario Kart 8
You can't be a decadent manchild right now?
Its this drone again
What's funny now is that i don't know who you're talking about and now i know there's more than one person who think you're already a faggot
I play games on a CRT daily.
Why don't you just do that? It's not hard.
Old games are incel nazi shit.
Unironically lose your internet connection and stop posting on Anon Babble. That's it, that's literally all you have to do.
my nes got fuckeddd
fucking rca snapped
modern gaming is really garbage
Then why are you on the video games board this early in the morning?
Just buy a chipped PS1. Aren't those cheap?
God I can't wait for the next Anon Babble outage I'll play so many video games again.
Cause not all video games are garbage just because modern AAA devs suck? What a retarded way of thinking, are you indian or something?
no Internet forcing him to socialize more.
True, I would've ended up a based and outrageously cultured digital age philosopher king with multiple world record speedruns under my belt if I didn't have easy access to internet socializing dopamine.
My internet went out last week and I binged an anime all the way through for the first time in two years.
when Anon Babble died I actually managed to watch the entirety of lycoris recoil
Anon Babble dying wasn't enough to stop my scrooling, too many alternatives and online service game slop.
modern gaming is really garbage
not all video games are garbage
they have a board for people like you, you know
I just want to have a place of my own with a dedicated gaming room
Yes, my hindi friend. Modern video games do not encompass the entirety of video games. I know this might be difficult to understand for someone who only just recently acquired internet access in 2018 on a black market smartphone.
You dont even need to go back that far
games that came out 8 years ago are better
seething tourist
I accept your concession buddy. Maybe the street food has prangoon in a bad mood.
have kids
have my old consoles in the game room in case I want to use them
oldest has taken a liking to some of the SNES games after watching me play them
Yep, Chrono Trigger's a good game. Even better when you're sharing it with someone who's never played it.
Will gaming ever experience a golden age like this again or are we just going to keep going downhill?
I can't wait to have kids and see them play on a PS2 which may as well be ancient history to them
Oh hell no the last true golden age of gaming was from 6th gen to mid 7th gen.
Gaming is fucked honestly, especially after 2017
You have to pass it down and curate the experience for your kids instead of leaving it up to corporations filling their heads with dopamine rushes and brainrot. Too many idiots let their kids play roblox and fortnite.
Maybe after some kind of industry collapse we could see it
The best we can hope for is a collapse but dont expect anything AAA outside of Nintendo
Mine haven't gotten at the PS2 yet but I'm looking forward to their reactions to it. It's got a really fantastic library and I have a lot of the best stuff available. Part of me hopes he'll take a liking to one of my Gundam PS2 games.
Not gonna happen. I truly believe the internet has been the single biggest downfall of the west. Can't speak for jeets and turdworlders.
A lot of my PS2 games are PS3/PS4 remasters but any son of mine would love the games
The way mine's already taking to RPGs I get the feeling he'll enjoy stuff like Dark Cloud 2 and the .hack games one day, at least. Just glad I can share this stuff I used to love with them
Dark Cloud 2 and the .hack
All the Anon Babbleidiot "hidden gem thread" glazing couldn't get me to stomach more than an hour of either of those and trust me I tried, I wanted to be based.
I consumed more of the .hack anime than the games but that's only because it was on TV and you really didn't have a choice way back then.
I liked them a lot, but I'll put up with a lot for a premise that interests me and .hack especially had that
We can’t
The golden age of gaming started in 1997 when developers finally figured out how to properly utilize 3D graphics and CD storage.
It ended sometime in 2012 when the aftermath of the financial crisis truly hit the gaming scene with online passes, action games becoming yearly franchises, companies abandoning niche genres in favor of mass market garbage, budgets ballooning out of control and many other things you now hate about gaming
You can never return to the womb. The best you can do is lock yourself into an infantile fantasy until you kill yourself.
you can still buy an old tv, you can still buy an old console, you can still buy old games
I was gonna say something about the Surge but there was a small run of it in 2020, still good enough to drink.
You can, but it's a cope and living in a fantasy world
You can't, idiot.
We can't, we can only do our best to create good times for our children and hope they grow up as good people.
let's go back to the hight of mom's pill addiction and dad's alcoholism
No not ever. Nothing would want me to go back ever
Where can you buy those shelves made for housing cartridge games? My SNES collection is growing and something like that might be nice to have.
