personally i'd prefer if he didn't have a design at all, it should feel like he's a blank character that you play as, a design implies character and it's not as fun
but if he had to look like anything, i suppose looking like a frumpy unwashed nerd who dresses like a hobo is the most fitting for a guy who lives and works in a remote science facility

I wouldn't be surprised since there's already one in-game that you can equip, it just doesn't show on Kel, only Kerfus.

Depends on what you're lookikg for.
If you want a clunky signal simulator with the occasional weird thing happening while you focus on your job and a few other odd things, play the latest release before 0.7
If you want a more polished game full of bloat where you're encouraged to do anything but get/process signals (mostly added to pad out the streamer content), play the latest release where the base was entirely overhauled, the player model became a twink, and where there's the modeler second life ERP furry shark OC in it.
You will have a very different experience depending on the version you're playing.

you can watch any one of many toobers play it instead, it's literally a tooberbait game (actually made for a streamer) so that's how it's intended to be consumed, in the most annoying way possible

Everyone (More precisely, every streamer) is done getting/processing signals with some meme videoes blaring in the background and Nose knows it.
I wouldn't hold my breath for new signals in the future, all you'll likely get are new events, new base decoration items, and maybe some meme mechanic like guns.
It's a shame, I've been waiting for more signals with every update, but nobody gives a fuck about these anymore.

I don't dislike it conceptually, the only issue is Monique sucks ass at modeling humans because he's a furfag modeler first and foremost. Get a new guy or something, maybe wrangle Monique into learning what humans actually look like, I dunno.

Nose doesn't just need to add new signals. He needs to add a fucking ton of new signals.
Adding 3 every three updates or so don't matter if one ends up being a mandatory story signal and the other two are some ultra rare ".1% chance to find during days 17-21 but only if rng decides it rains too" bullshit

Yeah almost every signal I get to 3 just sounds like someone left the water running in a sink.

My friend likes to watch me play and she says I'm the only one who really does signals. We watch Joel together and she gets tired of him not doing signals and just being stupid. Yet she wants him to get scared by shit. I dunno.

It really, really, really doesn't help that there's a lot of "common" signals that are actually just trash. I believe they're even called trash in the files, the Nothing signals that have just static. And the asteroids, so many fucking asteroids. I really want an upgrade or a module that decreases the chance of seeing a repeat signal, preferably by far more than half.
