I've been gaming 5+ hours a day for 25 years, never had this issue. Is it actually just genetics?

I use oppai mousepads specifically because the cleavage creates a nice "nest" to cradle my wrist, it's more comfortable than just a solid bar.

i use an ergo mouse for like 90% of my time on my computer and all my wrist pain went away within a few weeks. i switch back to my real mouse/mousepad for games that require precision like FPS or whatever.

Only times I’ve ever had wrist pain is fucked up controls. Like constantly sprint dashing in Warframe.

nah before I was using wrist supports I got painful wrists all the time if I played for more than 1-2 hours at a stretch, especially shooters or PVP in MMO's

Not really—vertical mice shift the strain from your wrist to your thumb and forearm muscles. If your grip isn't adjusted properly or you're overcompensating, it can cause soreness in different spots. Ergonomics are weird like that.

my issues got fixed by simply putting my mouse and keyboard further away on the desk so that my arms have a place to rest whenever I use them
took a while getting used to but as long as your arm is not just hanging there you are going to be OK

As I stopped drinking anything caffeine-containing(coffee, cocoa, tea, chocolate, any sorts of colas and bepis, etc) the inflammation went significantly weaker.
