It will get future games, both announced (Kirby Air Riders) and unannounced, that I want so I will inevitably want it even more than I do now

I'm currently in a financial position to be able to purchase it with extremely minimal impact (don't even need to cut into what I put into my savings monthly)

It is unlikely the go down in price considering the current economy and how the previous generation panned out

Some of us can think further ahead than the moment. Consoles traditionally are hard to find after release and by the time they're easy to find they could be more expensive due to tariff pause expiring. They will have a summer direct for their chriatmas releases, and it has enhanced versions of switch games to keep me entertained after mario kart gets boring. The switch never got a price cut and for people who only play docked the battery upgrade and better screen mean nothing, so there's zero reason not to get it at launch if you're going to get one eventually

Dcek runs cp2077 at medium-high 800p 40fps. It's being specifically optimized for Switch 2 and it can only run it at 320p upscaled to 720p 30fps. 540p upscaled 1080p 40fps when docked. Deck is stronger as the handheld and has better battery life.
