The first hour is characters talking about how they want humanity to die and how they feel sorry for the entity murdering children's parents in front of them, while saying other dumb shit like referencing the appearances of things not in view at the time and which the player has never seen. This being 20% of the time of the unskippable cutscenes, the remaining 80% is just characters stand around looking at scenery. I had literally ONE (1) combat encounter (some random mime) before I grew too bored with the long periods of silence, empty dialogue, and other inane writing to continue. In the hour of time that I "played" the game, there was like 2 minutes of actual gameplay (I don't count walking around a barely-interactive cutscene to be gameplay).
