To this day I wonder what their thought process was releasing this shitty game with a terrible story so unlike any other Thief game.
At least the hub was okay unlike the one from Deadly Shadows.
I played it as a teen without any prior attachments to the series and it sucked so much that i dropped it less than 3 hours in.
I like how stealing an item takes a couple of seconds so it forces you to pick the right moment, the trouble is that it also changes your location sometimes and forces you into light when it didn't need to. You can open a drawer from the side Eidos, you don't need to be standing in front of it

Hitman Absolution is quite possibly the worst stealth game of all time.
It also fucks you when you're standing in water in the tutorial mission too.
If you're not standing close to the loot and try to loot something in water you'll make a splash and alert the guards.
