The only major writing issue in the expansion I can't confidentiality blame on progressivism is the weakness of lol dragons show up to defend the city, and even then I wouldn't exactly be shocked to learn politics did indeed play a role.

This is what I'm thinking. I'm playing classic right now, and every now and then in heroic dungeons there is someone that just doesn't seem to understand the game doing healer tier dps. My groups usually kick them, but I don't mind them. I'm enjoying the game, I hope they can enjoy it too. I wouldn't want that in twilight dungeons or raids, but I'm okay with people just winging it and having fun in heroics.

I doubt it will be that good. A .2 second gcd increase is a pretty big increase on a 1.5 second gcd, that's a flat 15% dps hit. And I doubt those rotations will really be optimal.
Pulling some numbers out of my ass, but I think this will bring people who perform at 10-30% of their class's full potential up to 50-60%, which is good enough for heroics and light group content. People who do research and practice probably perform at 80-95% of their class's full potential, while sweaty tryhard parsers push 99%+. There's no way you will see people using this in mythic dungeons without being kicked immediately, or guilds finishing even normal raids with teams using this rotation helper.

Shadowbringers came out in 2019 without Male Viera and Female Hrothgar, so the following two expansions Endwalker and Dawntrail would release each one, and that was a major marketing point for each.
There is a current localization lead who is like the old wave of Tumblr and she's tried pushing stuff, but at worst she made the faeries/pixies "non-binary" where characters magically call use "they/them" without being told. She called Grummz the "Archduke of Transphobia", and is the one that hired the troon to voice the English voice of a female character that became hated in ALL regions.
But because the core dev team actually plays the game, I don't think they'd appreciate having their created character suddenly be changed to appease western "standards". And in addition, you have the mobile version coming out and it straight up uses male/female like current character creator. And now that the culture pendulum is shifting back now that we find out trannies are fucking insane, I think it's safe now.
Which got me thinking, maybe XIV got away with it because it doesn't say "male/female" in the character creator, but uses the symbols and ?

I actually liked the idea of the eikons/summons/aeons whatever you call them being big fuck huge kaiju battles that the main characters transformed into. The execution sucked ass though and now it’s a shame they can’t revisit that idea without being a “copy” of 16

new active and passive skills learned through different actions such as beating bosses, finding secrets, completing side-quests, upgrading equipment

buff food/buffs for people who love minmaxing

no modern shit, make it fantasy again with steampunk elements at best

multiple endings, post game dungoens/areas/bosses and maybe some extra stuff for new-game+

allow jumping, boosting, climbing, crawling, sliding, swimming, diving

keep the world interesting with different trasportation methos who fit the current area your in

allow fast traveling after unlocking it through special requirements, even if its just an airship again

good humor, action and funny moments are important

i mentioned side-quests, do a lot of them and make it clear what the rewards are so people can decide if they ignore them or not

use side quest to tell the lore and give characters their background stories

non-linear story, non linear dungeons and non linear areas, at least not for everything
