I avoided almost every detail about DS2. I want as much of the game to be fresh and exciting for me on June 24th as possible. More than half of the fun about games made by guys like Kojima is experiencing the story and the atmosphere with no prior knowledge about them, the rest is figuring out new mechanics and systems yourself.

honestly, yes, its pretty fucking great. Get it on sale if you can, easily worth it then. For so much traveling, it did a great job of making an actual video game around it.
You can either do online(people build stuff and the more you "Connect" in the game the more stuff shows up, helping you out) Or go offline and do it all yourself. Both are fun.
One thing about it thats really good is you keep getting fun unique tools throughout the whole game, and even some neat stuff thats into side deliveries.
Man imagine having all those people relying on you as a boss to create games and all you do is photograph food and hang out with celebs. Kojima has to be a douchebag in real life.

This game is going to be massive. Previewers played for 30 hours and Jim Jim said that play time accounted for about 40% of the story. Reviews of that 30 hours have been overwhelmingly favorable too. This will be a winner
Also the sheer confidence Kojima has in letting journos play for 30 hours is absolutely insane. Normally in those preview events they get to play for a few hours and that's it but they played for 4 full days and even everyone who hated DS1 loved DS2. This game will be a masterpiece.
