Krauser fight was kewl
It's fun but it has some noticable problems with padding. They added more sections which don't really seem to have much of a purpose (like the mandatory lake collectathons). Really strange VA direction, Leon's VA seems to take a more serious demeanor most of the time while Krauser's goes all in on the cheesiness, so there's a disconnect in tone. Laser sights are now attachments for certain weapons and playing the game with the crosshair doesn't feel anywhere near as accurate as the original with the laser sight, which adds a lot of tardiness to the weapons which can slow down and clunkify gameplay a bit.
Overall fun remake, original had much better ideas though.

nigga if there's one thing the remake nails, it's the removing most of the chaff compared to the original, which had some very fucked up padding in the second half.
Yeah, the tone is more serious overall and less cringy, but that's not all that bad, I can live without Luis ballistics joke and I'm happy all the shit talk via radio is gone.

its an amazing remake,so good that i played it 2 times in a row(once in normal and the second in hard),overall i love it,but i have no idea why they went so stingy with ammo in hard mode,i spent 60-70% of that playthrough only using the pistol because that was the only thing that the game droped

No. The knife parry is a retarded get out of jail button you can hit at any time on non professional difficulties. On professional, it isn't really intended to be used (so much so that the krauser fight reverts the timing window)
