Still got some of that shit on my own despite the fact that I'm spooked to mess with it because they did a security check and banwave on a lot of systems to counter-act it, so now the only way to actually do it is to pay Microsoft like $5-10 to be able to get a dev mode toggle that takes your console offline and THEN lets you put emulators on it.
Basically no one but the immediately affected really reported on it and the larger industry didn't care, and that's a lenient case where there's still an option left. This should be obvious that Sony and Nintendo would fuck your ass on their respective platforms or at the bare minimum totally ban you permanently and brick the system altogether to prevent further access.
