Now that GTA 4 remastered has been confirmed, what will they remove/censor?

The rabbis you have to shoot in two missions

The rabbis you have to shoot in two missions

there's rabbi pedestrians in the street too

i remember sometimes the rabbis would drop more money than the other pedestrians they could remove that

It's going to be another jeetmaster with half the soundtrack removed. Shan't be buying.

Yet another pointless remaster. 4 still holds up pretty well.

More radio songs removed

Why does GTA get Persona treatment with the ignorancy towards the first and sequel entries yet demakes upon triquel on forth?

Will they fix the car physics? They handled like boats.

It's a port, not a remaster.

Shut the fuck up

GTA IV sucked and is a good Zoomer indicator, I've never been so disappointed in a game before or since. Who the fuck wants a remaster of that gay shit.

read they can remove content at will, even if it a port

GTA IV is the best entry in the series

This. There is a patch that fixes lots of glitches and adds AA and generally makes it work better on modern machines.

I expect them to not add fingerless gloves again.

what will they remove/censor

Does it add the music back in, or do I need to make a custom radio station for that shit?

But will they keep the underage beauty pageant page that is actually a FIB trap that immediately gives you a 5 star wanted level.

It's over.

Imagine if they removed Vladivostok because of the Russia-Ukrainian War

Some song licenses likely won't be renewed.
But censorship wise, maybe nothing?
The recent PC port of RDR did not even include the censorship that the 2011 GOTY edition had, it was the same as the original.

There is no Vlad fm in steam version. There is 0% chance it will be in remaster.

it's not like the 3 trilogy was even that amazing, it was just solid so you'd expect the next game to be solid too and probably improve on what came before it

that 4 was as disappointing as it was is kind of incredible for something that i had only the most ordinary expectations of

pirate game

it's the whole, complete experience compared to the legally bought version

Where was this confirmed?

Thankfully you can mod it. SA is even worse, I was forced to play it with 30 fps lock.

I never got the appeal of the PS2 GTAs but I bought a used PS3 and it came with a copy of GTA IV and I really enjoyed it because of the characters and story, I was expecting going rampage simulator but the game is actually well written and very depressing. I bought GTA V when it released but couldn't get into it, felt so corporate and soulless.

My thoughts and experience exactly

SA is even worse, I was forced to play it with 30 fps lock.

bro your downgrade patch

Just how sanitized is VI going to be if Rockstar now censor previous entries to not offend snowflakes?

tell me you've never driven a car without telling me

not him but i've driven cars and boats
gta 4 cars feel worse than boats, with tall walls, in the wind

I wouldn't be surprised if Gay Tony himself just gets scrubbed out of canon.

Probably nothing besides gutting the soundtrack. Did they censor anything in the RDR1 PS4 / Switch / PC port? My guess is that any "remaster" of GTA 4 is going to be like that, just ported to newer consoles with slight improvements to the resolution and framerate.

Gerry McReary goes on a rant about his Irish-American family having to do work for guineas (italians) and niggers after previously running the city.

That's right, it's just a port.

I used the Downgrader Patch when I finally played. I also copied Hot 100s from the early 2000s into the custom mp3 folder. So at one point, I led the Lost into a turf war battle with Miley Cyrus on the radio. That was kind of surreal.
