this is the coolest game ever made
Xenoblade X
How did Elma gain access to Qlurian tech?
Was the Qlu system in her universe? Was it in earth universe? Has it been destroyed along the universe? Are Neilnail and Celica the last living Qlurians?
A multiverse means the same thing can exist across multiple universes. Qlu doesn't have to be in just one. As for the question itself, it's likely they had prior exchanges with Elma's homeworld.
Sure, but that still means that Neinail and Celica's original universe is no more right?
Needs a quest about teaching Neilnail all about earth's mating rituals.
I assume everyone who ended up on Mira left their original universe since that's what we know happened with humanity, the Ma-non, the Ganglion, Professor B etc. It doesn't seem like Mira's space includes anything else, it's just a pocket dimension.
Yup
Xenoblade X is a horror story
A nightmare factory
A bad shit simulator
100% chance that most of the Mims will crack like an icy lake once they learn more about the universe.
Why couldn't they have just said Ghosts destroy merely planets. Literally doesn't change anything besides making far more sense, you can still have the Nexus and even have it work more like how the imaginary domain works in Saga.
Monolith failed elementary physics, disregard any of their attempts to explain their own cosmology. For all intent and purpuse the "universes" of the series should be considered clusters within an actual universe, and universe hopping tech should be considered average space travel tech. All space faring races are assumed to have universe hopping tech until stated otherwise.
They already said in the base game that the Samaar came from another dimension so it was probably in the cards all along.
For all intent and purpuse the "universes" of the series should be considered clusters within an actual universe, and universe hopping tech should be considered average space travel tech.
I completely agree, but they emphasize so hard in chapter 13 how it's all different universes that are being destroyed that it's hard to ignore
Sure keep the idea of other universes, but why did anything in X had to be from different universes? Mira as its own space anomaly, sure, but that's it, the other stuff serves 0 meaningful purpose besides making the lore almost nonsensical
That might not even be that far from what it actually is since dimension hopping relies on the Nexus dimension, the same way transfer flights in Xenosaga relied on the Unus Mundus.
They clearly have no sense of scale and just spewed random cool words in true senile japanese fashion. The space travel cutscenes show the WW floating in space, there's no solid proof of universe hopping. Universe hop can just as easily be their ftl. But yeah the ghosts eating universes is completely out of Sense, because It gives them zero reason to make themselves known to the threat If they can just set de-mat bombs on pluto n 588997653333336888999 j and delete mira without anyone even knowing what the shit just happened.
It looked to me like they can only create the dematerialization orbs if they're physically present.
But the orbs have infinite range, so they can create then on the other side of the universe to make sure no one escapes
They just followed the Ganglion from Elma's planet to Earth the slow way, didn't they? Potentially taking them up to 30 years depending on how long they kept fighting over Elma's planet after she left.
I wonder if chapter 13 is a hint that the 8 ships that left Klaus' earth were equipped with a conduit emulators, and knowingly or not dimension hopped. There's coincidentally 13 ships in total scheduled to leave Klaus earth, which also lines up with the amount of Zohar emulators in saga.
started ch 13
Man they actually cucked Elmafags, huh
Al is cool.
It was already very obvious in the base game and her cameo in 2's DLC.
can you stop talking about the plot when I'm not in chapter 10 yet thanks
Elma sounds so pissed off for the entirety of act 1 and it genuinely concerned me.
She was sexually frustrated for a whole year due to Al's disappearance.
How did Elma gain access to Qlurian tech?
considering her people are also descended from Samaar and had access to the likes of the Ares (leftover Samaar tech) it seems more likely her people also just have their own trion barrier tech and Luxaar, not that it was bought on the Qlu shopping network or something
How the fuck do I survive high level enemies without ghostwalker or doing the one-shot bullshit builds that effectively negate the fight? They either destroy me in one hit or topple lock me. The game expects me to keep making a ton of different gear for the whole team just so I can survive something?
>watching their cutscene interactions
"are they ex-lovers"
>watching their reconciliation
"they were ex-lovers"
>hearing elma's post-battle where al says her team are a lively bunch and she responds "and you're adding the palette, ~hotshot~
"oh and they're back on again"

Why would you fight high level enemies if you don't have a strat to fight them? You either use a dodge build, a reflect build, or get 100% resist gear to their attacks
I´m doing photon saber + gatling, but everything that´s worthy of note ignores reflect and just destroys me. I´m not complaining the game is shit anon, I love this thing, I just don´t know how to prepare
Al’s first heart to heart
suggest we go play cards
Elma gets an affinity boost
”if Princess finds out, she'll rake me over the coals or worse”
I kek’d
Topplelock them back
Nah
It's kind of a rugpull
The game definitely seems to hint that Al's here to cuck you out of everything - Elma, Lin, even the hero role, you can even react to Al with jealousy and annoyance
But as soon as the H2Hs come, Al quickly sets you up to explicitly be Elma's boy and to be a better him by all accounts
In the end she's even the one to welcome you from the last sacrifice(which is a known anime trope) with a "welcome" that'd have shippers creaming their pants elsewhere
Al even acknowledges you're Elma's favorite and she gets pissy he's stealing you away
Playing this game again is reminding me how much I fucking hate sawano's retarded tendency to splice random songs together in his OSTs for no fucking reason
Why the FUCK does the key we've lost just clip into the ganglion theme? This annoying retard producer, he does it every goddamn time
Isn't reflect bypass actually pretty rare?
Make sure you keep the aura up, add reflect traits for the proper attributes, it should just werk for most things.
If you are trying to fight Luciel, the reactions go through reflect but the damage doesn't, for some reason. It's the only enemy able to do that.
The game expects me to keep making a ton of different gear for the whole team just so I can survive something?
Yeah, the idea behind the game design seems to have been that you would need to keep doing online missions for material tickets to make augments to explore the planet 100%, but ghost walker was an oversight pretty much
Ghostwalker might have been an oversight, but you could still use skells to farm some mats even with shop weapons.
I am in fact fighting it. I figured that since things like to go through gravity reflect I´d get me high resistances to it instead, but I keep getting topple locked even with 2 topple res XX
Because he does stagger first, and that bypasses any Topple res.
Sleeplock, Topplelock, Reflect build, maxing out attribute defenses with Astral Protection.
100% Mira
can't find the urge to do anything else
start looking for the raygun in other games
Sleeplock
Does anyone ever run that.
I know it exists, I know how and why it does work, but holy fucking shit it's one of the most grindy builds possible.
Time to do your Holofigs.
Then if the autism asks for even more, all achievements.
Fuck me, how do I shove all those defenses and resistances into a single set of armor? So I gotta have a 100 gravity, 100 stagger and 100 topple resistances?
Time to do your Holofigs.
That's actually something feasible I hadn't thought about. Thanks.
all achievements
I don't have it in me to kill everything 100 times. I don't even think I have it in me to kill an innocent lepyx 100 times.
Use the attribute res probes to cover some of the required gravity res, or mix in some evasion since you can heal yourself with the saber. As long you aren't getting literally OHKO'd and stunlocked you will be fine.
Musicfags. They want the battle to drag on so they can listen.
Oh shit the probe is a good idea! Forgot about those. How much res do they even give?
tell me you're underage without telling me you're underage
I'm just looking a the whole thing and remembering the big Christian influence on the games, and I'm thinking that they're setting up an Adam and Eve scenario with the PC, Al, and Elma playing the roles (in no particular order) of Adam, Eve, and Lilith
Does Uncontrollable make sense with a bunch of the song recontextualized now? It doesn't seem like Al and Elma were on bad terms so it doesn't seem to be about them.
16 at buff tier V.
You cannot reach buff tier VI even if that exists technically. There is also the skill "Gravity Guard", that's another 20 while wielding a ranged weapon for a total of 36. You can safely shave off one or two traits/augs.
Well in the song's lyrics it doesn't seem like they're mad at each other.
More that they're having some difficulties.
It s because it s not really about them anon
The songs make sense in the context they are used (Black Tar, Wir Fliegen)
So you've gotta think of a way to recontextualize that around the tyrants
Besides
Al and Elma aren't an item, and it's very ambiguous whether they ever were due to the autism of both parties involved and Al's general lackadaisical nature
The entire introduction of Al is kind of jab at the MC at first glance, but it twists it at the end to leave the MC as, while not the focal point, definitely top dog of the conflict
Which also includes all the relationships you though Al was stealing from you as Elma and Lin are the ones that are there for the MC first
The only thing that was missimg was Al actually dying
Does Oblivia's themes share a motif with some other track? I'm tone deaf about these things but it sounds really familiar. I want to say Key we've Lost but it's stretching.
FINALLY managed to beat Telethia twice to finish Noctilum's survey yesterday. Tonight, once I'm done wageslaving, I'll try to beat the new Ghost superboss in Sylvalum, and if I manage to do it, I'll finally be able to finish the game.
There's another one in the Devil's Colony too.
There's two Ghost superbosses, though the one you can fight on foot just crumbles instantly to a meme dance like everything else.
Yeah I had that one kill itself on my reflect build after 30 minutes of me doing no damage to it because I think Core Crusher deals no damage to its weakpoint or it had 90 Ether resistance.
