Uses "fast forward" on emulators

Different people have different brains that work at different speeds. Games and media in generla are made for the lowest common denominator who can only work at the slowest speed. The higher your IQ, the faster you can process thoughts and information. It's why I'm able to watch youtube videos at 2.0x speed and miss nothing.

I can't play without fast forward or save states anymore, unironically.

only on leading screens and unskippable cutscenes if you have to see them more than once

if a game has lives and a stupid ass "game over, go back to beginning" when you lose them all then i think save states are perfectly fine

i miss all the pan threads around sparking zero's release

uses "eject" on emulators

Correct, it's the only way to play ps1 games, especially rpgs, you need to fast forward battles loading in and out and long animations like in FF games, which are often long on purpose so they can read from disc during, hidden load times basically.
Saving yourself many hours on just one ps1 FF game is serious time to save, you can fit some whole games in the time you waste on ps1 load times.

You didn't beat the game.

It's a must for games with unskippable cutscenes/dialogue.

Why should that matter to him?

Based Based Based

No, I beat even more games than I would waiting for load times. It's a win-win.

ETERNAL DRAGON!

I just fast forwarded your post, cope

Literally nothing wrong with fast forwarding unskippable cutscenes.

Would Bulma believe Vegeta?

Only way casuals can beat shootem ups.

That is a objective lie. Stop pretending your crippling autism and ADHD is a super power instead of a disability.

No it isn't. There are people who only start sounding normal after you speed them up 1.25x to 1.5x.

pan

I do this with RPGs I've played before but I actually usually put it in slow motion to get lower times on the timer. Sometimes I'll record inputs so I can see how it looks at normal speed.

yeah, I'm playing simcity on the SNES.

zoomer who spends 99% of his waking hours scrolling through tiktok and instagram: I use fastforward because games dont respect my time.

Why is Japan like this?

I like how she just showed up with the outfit with no explanation of where she got it or why she felt the need to wear it. just

hey grandpa lookie, ain't I cute?

I would not have been able to finish Path of Radiance without speed up. Even if you turn off battle animations, the map animations still take forever.

already played old game because Im 34

have no moral hangups about fast forwarding as I desire

feels good not being a zoomer gaslight into having to enjoy things according to how others desire
