It is cheating

not being poor =! cheating

worst layout

shilled to death

not even a good one if you like buttons

I've been on a leverless for a month so far and it fucking sucks.

aren't pros playing with default ps4/ps5 controllers

Just dont buy fighters the. It's literally that simple. Don't watch them or engage with them either.

A larger proportion than before but I think it's still majority stick/leverless users.

why are you playing on a leverless lmao , dogshit modern games are made for pads , old KINO fightan is made for sticks

If someone can pull off the hair-trigger precision motions on this thing, they can already do it on another device. Considering the nature of a button per finger, if anything it's more impressive to see someone articulate it instead of using a single thumb or the whole hand on a d-pad / stick respectively, because your brain co-aligning each individual finger appropriately is difficult to learn as is for keyboarding.

will beat anyone with this in any game

It was cheap and my qanba's usb got the wire chewed by my dog.

always liked to play fighting games on a keyboard

believe myself that keyboards are better than controllers

everyone laughs at me

hit-box become a thing

now people believe keyboard-like layouts are almost cheating because of how good they are

Cool, but can I have one of those instead?

Because of macros and shortcuts, not because they are good. They are borderline useless to be quite honest

macros

No.

shortcuts

Just scanning in general being way more forgiving since SFIV. But I doubt you were complaining 15 years ago.

IV still handled like a fighting game, too fast for a shitbox to be good

money is a literal cheat code to life nigga

why? how different is it from a keyboard layout? and if its cheating, why do tournies allow it?

use a pad or keyboard
don't buy this snake oil
better yet, make your own leverless for a third of the price

You didnt beat the game

No it actually makes it harder I'm left handed

They are borderline useless to be quite honest

Speak for yourself, mine is perfect for puzzle games. No accidental diagonal inputs ever, unlike a D-pad or fightstick. Stay upset.

You can press all directional inputs simultaneously where this is physically impossible on a joystick. It's obviously an advantage, but if everyone uses it it's not a problem. The problem stems from not everyone having access to one. It's functionally pay to win. You can argue the degree of severity but it doesn't change the nature of the argument.

Simultaneous left/right cancel each other out.
Simultaneous up/down cancel each other out.
How retarded and gay are you?

nah, you just suck

The delay between pressing a different button is shorter than the delay between moving a joystick from opposite ends; especially if the buttons have rollover capabilities.

Videogames cost money to play, deal with it. I wasn't able to climb the ranks in Starcraft 2 because at the time my PC couldnt shit more than 20 fps on minimal settings, was this also the case of pay2win?

i see enough threads where i've seen you post this a lot of time

that's the comment

This seems like a fault of the games for allowing input functionality to result from this more than any fault of a controller or player making use of it. It would be like banning keyboard warriors from playing because they can hold multiple keys if they're not doing with a two-key limit issue.

Yes. The point of a competition is to see who has more skill. If your starting lines are in different places it removes the point of the competition because no result can be considered fair. Some unfairness can be avoided, and in tournament settings unfairness should be avoided as much as possible. It sucked when you had a shitty PC, but you sure do act like you don't remember that. You mysteriously stopped caring about the unfairness as soon as you were the one with the advantage.

Hey retard, there's this thing called SOCD and even devs can implement it in their games if they really want to.

nobody stops me so everything I do is moral

So many different excuses to justify making your competition unfair for your competitors.

Nice strawman dipshit, next time be informed.

There's no strawman. You're bringing up an irrelevant point. An appeal to authority. You're not insisting the developers do it to make a competition fair. You're only saying they could do it, but secretly glad they don't because you're not interested in competing; only winning. The same justification cheaters use.

Point out where I said that nobody's stopping me so everything I do is moral

Should I take another picture of it from a different angle or something?
On topic, it was my first time making a custom controller, and wiring it was kinda fun. Had to deviate from this chart somewhat because of the function layout I wanted, mostly for usage in Catherine. Doing it the "correct" way would have been detrimental.

What video game lets you hold directional inputs together? You do know SOCD exists and depending on the game it translates those inputs to either neutral, previously held button, and currently held button right? Even those newer keyboards with Snaptap or whatever they call their own version of SOCD does the new button priority.

Nothing is stopping everyone from using one
Just because some boomer wants to use their arcade stick doesn't make everyone else that adapted with the times a cheater

i can tell no one here actually plays fighting games in person because the true advantage of a leverless is how portable it is. going from lugging a stick around everywhere to a controller you can just slip in your pocket is a bigger upgrade than whatever overblown socd boogeyman people on here sob about. pad is just as nice for this as well, and even comes with its own advantages over other controllers

Somehow this Haute42 G16 feels very comfortable to play on despite having been told by many over the years that my hands are big and my fingers are long. I always turned my head up at smaller periferals because I always find them awkward to weild, but having the G16 for little over a year as an impulse buy it's been a good experience. Thing is I'm well aware that the T16 exists before I got it, but no I really wanted this mini leverless.

nice lunchbox, faggot

I got pic related and I'm pissed off that the edges around the buttons slice my fingers. Anyone have any ideas? The caps for the mech switches underneath are easy to take off but I have no idea if there are better buttons that cover the edges or if they'd even fit in the same drilled holes.

and they lose 99% of the time to hitbox players

Daigo said it was cheating, so it is.
Simple as.

How?

It was cheating back when hit-box was being used in games that didn't take into account the possibility of pressing left and right at the same time.
Hit-box renders cross-ups useless in those games, but modern fighting games have already fixed this.
