the reason toby insisted on releasing chapters 3 and 4 as one unit is because you can't actually get the schizoboss in ch3 right away. you'll need to go through ch3 normally, and then get a shadow crystal in ch4, then go back and grab it on a different save file. then you'll finally be able to get the mantle. hence "back" on the chapter5 page. that's what the blacked out 1 and 3 mean as well

I used Archive Of Our Own due to its tagging granularity.
Observations:

Kriselle shippers have the highest proportion of shipping fics misgendering Kris to total shipping fics.

Krusie shippers have a slightly higher number of Kris-misgendering fics than Kriselle shippers, but also a higher number of nonbinary Kris fics and total shipping fics overall.

Suselle shippers have by far the lowest rate of misgendering Kris.

Kralsei shippers have the second lowest rate, but much fewer fics overall.

Hardly anyone misgenders Kris as female.
