Limbus Company, despite being a gacha game, has vision. The Live2D is used effectively considering it's budget; The characters are well defined and well written, not meant to be dropped for shiny new ones; The animation has higher quality when possible, but not every single time, and said animation has really good directing.

Played both. I enjoyed Limbus at the start but slowly became disillusioned with the way the story and gameplay is progressing, now I don't really enjoy it as much. Reverse1999 is alright, nothing mind-blowing but nothing that makes me hate it either. Limbus is if you don't mind widely fluctuating enjoyment from one patch to the next and the need to micro every action you take while Reverse1999 is mostly the same every patch and only need to manual play for certain gimmick bosses.

But even than, it seems it isn't a necessary for R Corp to make clones in their hatchery. It's more like training exercises to choose the most powerful (You). Hence why R Hong Lu is fundamentally different from all other mirror Hong Lus - he isn't as aloof as others. So in theory you just can create copy of yourself everytime you die without having to go through killing your copies. The only downside is you have memory till certain point, so you don't know how you died, for example.
