What are your thoughts if SEGA reenters the console market, pulling a Nintendo and bringing all of their IPs solely to their console with decent Third-Party support? We all can agree that gaming is slowing down, but is SEGA so far behind that the window for a console revival is out of reach?
SEGA can't even afford to do it. Besides, I like having their games on my PC without the need for emulating it, or dealing with 30fps-editions on my PS3/PS4.

I don't want that. I am pretty content with SEGA making games for PC and multiples consoles/handhelds.

As much as I'd like to see Sega's return, I don't think it'll ever happen. They missed the generation of people building their digital libraries, and I don't see them hitting it out of the park by making something blue ocean-y like the Switch. A Sega-branded UMPC would be cool, though.

Phantasy Star but Streets of Rage is a close second. Liked all the SOR games, and enjoyed the quadrilogy (yes, even 3), PSO, and PSO2 base.

SEGA don't have the brand value to return to the console market. Their brand value was stronger at the height of Dreamcast then it is now and failed miserably.

It would be dope but SEGA don't own the rights to most of these mascots anymore to have this level of variation in the roster. It would be dominated by Sonic, RGG, VF, SMB and Atlus characters

SEGA fucked up in the first place by resting all their franchises to focus on mediocre Sonic games but their attempts to actually revive their IPs have been met with middling success. It's mostly nostalgia fuelling such opinions because such revivals aren't being supported.
not crazy with how tanky basic enemies look in this but that is probably due to the stupid amount of hitstop everything takes in this game, as long as thats reduced significantly for basic enemies I would hope the speed of the game would be on par with any other Shinobi game.
