the sf4 new comers aesthetically were dull but how they played was really interesting (maybe too interesting in some cases), sf5 had some really neat additions too like menat and zeku. honestly alot of the 2x roster are just really unfun and boring outside of the context of 2x. i respect what SF3 did in terms of changing the cast entirely as most of the world warriors are just dry shites outside of 2 and alpha.

Mained him, and I mean in S2 before he was a menace and in S4-5 when he was nerfed into the dirt. Don't think he'll ever return (and to be honest there's a number of characters I'd want before him) but he's one of the bright spots of SFV for me, alongside Gill, G, Menat, the music, and all the fat asses. Still a pretty weak game overall.

SFxT Mega Man was fun, his only crime was coming out right after Inafune left a bunch of in-progress Mega Man games to die. Pac-Man riding a Mokujin mech with a super boring moveset and a two-button infinite is significantly worse.

I think the issue with Lily is that they tried too hard to make her cute. For example, they gave her a real bad baby face that ends up making her look more uncanny than anything.

Fuerte's moveset is cool but his design is pretty generic (it's basically just "let's draw Rey Mysterio if he was on as much gas as Triple H was in the early 00s") and his personality is just "I like to cook" with the comics adding that he's a fan of Mika. Also Decapre fucking sucks. V's best newcomers outside of Rashid came in DLC like Menat, G, and Ed.

Her design got too much shit but her personality is actually a bit dry. Her hyperactive animations can be cute but her actual story borders on Mary Sue levels of "perfect at everything".
