I've tried every private server. Only MapleLegends actually feels like old Maple, with an active community and everything. The only problem I have is how high level turns into Mulestory

Nah, Maplestory Classic is actually being built on GMS. It won't feel janky like Artale.

Classic will share the same (now-bloated) client as modern maple, so the perma NX events might come to classic. 90-day rent isn't a big deal anymore since being employed. Still bought a few cards back in the day.

Some of the same problems as Royals but a better community. Also a better alternative for HP washing. However, has fucking psychotic balance changes, like nerfing Corsairs when they were already the hardest class very few people play just because they out-DPS NLs on a few bosses.

Yeah, it's like trying to make SM64 in Roblox or some shit. It's never going to feel right. Artale is a decent attempt but it was doomed from the minute it was built on Maple Worlds.

The jankiness isn't the only problem with Artale either. The 60 player limit per world instance still makes it look as dead as any private server even if there's way more people playing it. Also more of an autistic criticism but all the UI and assets being stretched out and not perfectly integer scaled makes it look really cheap and amateurish. Combined with the jankiness, Artale just feels like you're playing some bad Maplestory knockoff made in Flash.

in other words, the class that relies on generic first class warrior skills for damage and can only deal higher-tier damage by using its 3rd job elemental buffs to let it target elemental weaknesses, may be attacking monsters that have specific elemental weaknesses, causing them to deal damage. this is apparently an issue that needs correcting, because we all know that white knight isnt allowed to deal damage because it has to use the 1st job warrior skills for damage.
