One Piece is the most "never judge a book by its cover" series I ever experienced. Avoided it like the plague for 20 years and now it's literally the best thing to come out of Japan. Yes, I've seen LogH, Vagabond, Akagi, etc. all your meme shows. One Piece mogs them in story. (Only weak parts are the action, other anime have better action choreography)

I dunno, I thought WCI was fun. But yeah it has been pretty terrible since the timeskip otherwise. Dressrosa was already exhausting and the Oden wank in Wano was really pissing me off so when Buggy and Shanks literally argued over who got to give him a massage I dropped it and have never felt the desire to pick it up again. I hear it has gotten a lot better since leaving Wano but I'm not willing to skip shit and I'm not willing to subject myself to further Oden-wank so I guess I'm finishing One Piece via word of mouth.
