Why isn't this just a DLC for Elden Ring? With a single-player modified version of Limveld that has all the gear, spells & bosses, and once you beat it you can access the multiplayer preset character version? Would probably sell more since it is actually adding content to a game people like.

I hate actionslop and I wish the games were focused on giving us covenants and more choices with the world instead of boss fight autism. The slowness of the originals were ideal way to deal with adversaries but they could had added more into the world like puzzles and built more on their half baked systems and lore as to not make it cookie cutter.

Demon's Souls was never intended to be actionslop. These games were about level design and artstyle first and foremost. Combat is secondary and shouldn't take over the focus.

It's a longer format than most Souls coop, but it's still the same experience. Instead of beating a single boss or zone, it's just playing Fortnite Ring together for 30ish minutes instead of 10.

Memorizing a handful of what colors make what spells is just Invoker from DotA. Figure out what the main bread and butter three or four combos are immediately, and you can always learn the contextual ones later. The hardest class by a landslide I see is going to be Executor trying to adjust his parries for all the ridiculous delays and shitboxes unless they really overtune the active time on the parry

Wo Long has its own merit, the magic system is awesome, dlc weapon types are great, there's a palpable reason to do ng+ if you have dlcs because it opens up a bunch of new customization mechanics and like 30+ new cool spells will randomly drop from the bosses.

I noticed that most character have unique dodge animations, which is a nice touch. It's the idle stances and generic run/walk animations that I still hate.

Seems like it will be annoying to play as you have to work with 2 other players so you cant just really go off and do your own thing and the time system is annoying too so it will feel like you have to constantly rush around the place.
