The last time I got a truly NEW PC was back in 2007.

The previous two builds of mine and their upgrades have all been gobbled together from pre-used parts.

I just upgraded from an over decade old 2nd gen i7 build with GTX1060, to R5 5600X + 32GB DDR4 + RTX 3060 12GB rig, for mere 550€, back in summer 2024. Can't even get a console for that price, and this thing's a gaming + multitasking powerhouse.

A pc build is heavily dependent on your budget. New or used will force the budget to change. It's your choice but cheaper hardware means a shorter life span for certain components
i'd personally go for new (even mid range stuff) versus used cheaper high end stuff

I started with all used, steadily started buying more and more new parts.
It's false economy. You will get outdated hardware and will have to upgrade more often. Latest gen parts are hard to come by used and they are barely cheaper than brand new parts from the store.
But if you're on a tight budget it's the way to go.

People are getting dumber every generation so it makes sense to replace all the jobs that require thinking or creativity with AI.
At this point it's better to just fully embrace AI since zoomers can't even write or read anymore.

I think hospitality is reliable. By that I mean fast food or restaurant. If you don't want to work in the place that makes the food, then just be a delivery person. If I had to work, I wouldn't mind delivering food. You don't have to talk to anyone while doing that job.
