I pop in to see see what he's up to once or twice a year, but I stopped watching him regularly after he quit his full-time job. It was too jarring to see this guy who was usually even-toned and candid suddenly going full clown, bending over backwards to entertain and avoid offending his new primary source of disposable income. Haven't really engaged with the other people from the website since he shut down the forums either, but I lost a lot of respect for Vin before then even.

same deal for me. i still enjoy checking out some of his older vods on occasion, but i almost never check out his newer stuff anymore. he acted naturally during the earlier years, but you could definitely sense when he began to force himself to act more "zany" to appeal to a lower common denominator (around when he quit his job, like you said).
