40k is the superior setting, Pathfinder is generic fantasy. There is nothing wrong with generic fantasy, stories set in it may be superior overall. Case in point: Kingmaker and WotR has much more enjoyable stories than Rogue Trader did.

Most of the romances in RT have bad endings for no reason, it's likely that your fledgeling kingdom gets fucked by the IoM eventually even if you do everything right, there's constant internal conflict in your party to the extent that party members kill each other and their family members in the epilogue, and you can't even stick your dick in the elf. Compare that to Kingmaker where you can romance the fairy queen, become immortal and rule over a badass garden city and WotR where you can become a literal god.

Dunno about you but I'm taking generic fantasy setting every single time if the superior setting forces you into an unenjoyable miserywank story.

Relatedly, dark eldar consider actual pregnancy and natural birth a huge status symbol and flex since it's basically announcing to the entire world that you're a bad enough bitch to still survive all your rivals and plots against your life even with a handicap, like tying one hand behind your back, and since Eldar reproduction requires multiple DNA injections over the course of the pregnancy instead of a one and done deal it's ALSO a flex that you have somebody either loyal or intimidated enough to provide them without backstabbing you AND that you also managed to protect them long enough to survive the entire pregnancy and give birth. Most dark eldar are vatborn because it's so much easier and they have a high mortality rate, trueborn are basically spoiled by mommy and daddy and shown off like trophies and given the shiniest toys and sickest guns as bragging rights.

The cross compatability only works upwards (towards higher power levels) so you could take a DH character into RT but not the opposite, I believe RT core says something like
" A rogue trader character is roughly equivalent to a dark heresy character with 5000 exp".
Dark kin is a rogue trader supplement (I have all the books and if anyone is looking for them they are still probably available on Anon Babble)
Even if you could take a RT character into DH (assuming you nerf it or that the DH campaign has hit a suitable exp level) it wouldn't make sense thematically, a position in a rogue trader's retinue is much more desirable than being a mook for the inquisition, only the most ruthless social climber would attempt to do something like that, and the attempt itself would probably bar you from becoming an inquisitor anyway.
Xenos are a no go, only the blackest radical would openly associate with xenos and he would not get to do it for long.....

Xenos buddies are the tamest form of radicalism in the Inquisition, once you start making Daemonhosts and Daemon weapons is when you're a real radical. Having an Eldar buddy is so stereotypical for Inquisitors it doesn't even raise an eyebrow. Same with Kroot, they are very common as mercenaries.

well that's completely untrue, some of the most famous inquisitors are the ones with strong ties to the elder and harlequins. The first Cain book literally has him and amberly working with the tau (and a named Kroot no less) to deal with a planet wide genestealer infestation
