Is this worth it? I heard it wasn't as good as the Persona games it's aping.

It's on game pass in a week
Why buy it?
Unironic woke trash and I dont say this often
I'd rather buy it than pay a sub fee to rent it
Gameplay was fun until it turns into a kiddie park ride by endgame and it did not deserve its TGA story award at all.
it's pretty good
pirate it
don't bother it's boring
play expedition 33 instead
that pic is highly inappropriate
Yeah, it's pretty good and the best JRPG of the decade.
You can probably find it cheaper on a key site, it's work every penny if it's like 30~40€, but not full price, tho.
might do this
I thought I filtered this crap
mc looks and sounds like a fag
If you only want to complete it and not do much with it after, gamepass might be the best option.

I am going to play it on GPass in a week. If its like Persona or SH2, then it will start off okay, but towards the end of the game I am thinking "when will this fucking game end"

RPG of the Year 2024
It really depends what you value. It's much more gameplay/dungeon-heavy with less chill hangout stuff.
Sniff*
who cares about owning
buy a month and play the shit out of the game
i saved you 50 dollars in your shit currency, you're welcome
I really liked it but I can't really recommend it unless your already rock solid for Atlus games.
Its long, has no real replay value and combat has the depth of a puddle. It boasts a lot of archetypes/class stuff but majority of it is locked until late game and even more are only useful for a single skill.
The final act / "post" game is the worst, you got a single dungeon that isn't a waste of time to grind in and once you're in it you can't leave.
Dungeon design is also objectively bad across the board, which is crazy even for Atlus
Pirate it
I'm 80 hours in, just get the white hair, and i don't see how this game could win anything against Rebirth.
It is just the usual Atlus slop.

And am extremely disapointed with the story and the villain. I was sold that these are very strong points of the game and they are all mediocre at best. The music is also mid, only the battle theme has some staying power
It's better I think. More streamlined at least. The game isn't going to require you to spend weeks eating burgers to advance the plot of one of your buddies. Though there isn't really any romance if that's something important to you. I like the way that press turns work in this more too.
What's wrong with that? If you plan on replaying it. Yeah just buy it. But if you're only going to play through it once anyway why not? Unless you are one of those non committal retard that take like a year to beat a videogame. In which case promise you'll get it on sale and then just never do that either.
