I've done most of them but basically once you know how gathering works on one job you know for all, goes double for crafters, skipping also gives you 1k dosh instead of the rando mats you would pick up from doing the tut, so it can save you like 5 minutes.

if it's just getting one charge off then that shouldn't feel too bad, I'm just worried that the class will completely fall off later in the game, even if spamming roll into the fast thrust is fun.

I'm only about an hour and a half in, but I didn't notice any i-frames on casting it yet. I haven't really experimented with it yet, but unless it's right as you do the first slash of heavy swing then I'm not sure.

Amazing once you disable all the blur shit and put all settings to high. Stable 60 fps so far. Battery isn't great with these settings, I think 2,5 hours, maybe 3 if you have the oled deck with better battery life, but the game plays really well and looks amazing

then find the sweet spot using the same search button other gatherers use, once you find it, pulling the reel with make the fish bar go back up, however, higher tier fish can change their sweetspot, so if that happens you have to search for it again and the bar will continue to go down until you do again, then just keep reeling until the fish is pulled in, it's the hardest gathering job to solo so getting a buddy early can help a lot and also you'll want to unlock your ability's in the skill tree asap

I don't think it does, because none of the characters ever refer to the player as male/female because they just call the player by name instead. Maybe it's different on the original Japanese version or actually matters within the coding but I have no idea on that part. I found out that some NPCs actually DO have schedules depending on time of day. In Eternia, there's an old man sitting on the bench by the fountain that talks about the great cog. He's not there at night. The inn also has a lot of patrons that are only there at night. I'm sure there are plenty of other NPCs that change positions depending on time of day.

The big number looks scary but it's not as bad as it looks. The number of area points you get for doing stuff increases as the area's rank increases, though it will still require a fair bit of grinding. Just take the opportunity to chop down a lot of trees and/or mine a lot of ore while you depopulate the area. If you enter a shrine/cave and exit, it also resets the spawns on the map (though not the area challenges)
