So Altmer want to destroy reality to become spirits again?
So Altmer want to destroy reality to become spirits again?
I like how everyone implicitly thinks that Lorkhan did the right thing by subjecting beings to material existence.
What if he didn't fuckos, and all of this suffering really is just pointless?
Lorkhan is the Spirit of Nirn, the god of all mortals. This does not mean all mortals necessarily like him or even know him. Most elves hate him, thinking creation as that act which sundered them from the spirit realm. Most Humans revere him, or aspects of him, as the herald of existence. The creation of the Mortal Plane, the Mundus, Nirn, is a source of mental anguish to all living things; all souls know deep down they came originally from somewhere else, and that Nirn is a cruel and crucial step to what comes next. What is this next? Some wish to return to the original state, the spirit realm, and think that Lorkhan is the Demon that hinders their way; to them Nirn is a prison, an illusion to escape. Others think that Lorkhan created the world as the testing ground for transcendence; to them the spirit realm was already a prison, and that true escape is now finally possible.
CHIMs you out of existence my fucking mind
Shut the fuck up BITCH *dragon shouts u*
dovahkhin was altmer
ayleids lost
How many eyes have you poked out with those ears of yours?
Wouldn't the Aelves not even exist if not for Lorkhan? It's not like spirits were fucking each other and giving birth in Oblivion.
So Cuckbride was reading Gnostics texts as well?
aetherius is fucking BORING. So what if you suffer and die? You still get an afterlife.
Spirits can create lesser spirits. From the monomyth:
So the Daedra Lords created the Daedric Realms, and all the ranks of Lesser Daedra, great and small.
Altmer see themselves as descended from also from the monomyth
Some had to marry and make children just to last. Each generation was weaker than the last, and soon there were Aldmer.
The key point being "just to last". Procreation is just a form of survival for the lesser spirits (in the Altmer view of course) that took part in creation, so Altmer don't see themselves as really as mortals who wouldn't exist without creation but as sundered spirits.
CoC was actually Pelinal from the past who was actually a robot from the future, brought into the past but he's mantled the demiurge of the universe, while also mantling the schizo Sheogorath, who plotted to have his past self come to the isles to be mantled as himself
TES ''lore'' is schizo nonsense.
all of this suffering really is just pointless
The suffering IS the point.
You have to suffer because...because...you just have to okay!
Smartest Lorkhanite
all of this suffering really is just pointless
just like real life
You sound like the loser that just blew up the fertility clinic.
Waaa I didn't consent to being born.
Collectively we do not hate the mer in TES enough.
Can any knife ear niggers even speak on why the spirit relm was better
ooohhh I wanna infinitely exist in a state of stasis in a formless magical void of nothing in particular
No rent.
why is it a problem ? the Empire is just going to rape them in the next game anyway
the empire is dead. tes6 is going be like the pre-tiber septim days.
aren't dumbners on lorkhan's side?
tes6 main villian is obviously going to be the leader of the thalmor
No, they’re just not whiny self pitying faggots like the Altmer.
Less limitations, Mundus is entirely a world of limits whereas Aetherius is not
At first the Aurbis was turbulent and confusing, as Anuiel's ruminations went on without design. Aspects of the Aurbis then asked for a schedule to follow or procedures whereby they might enjoy themselves a little longer outside of perfect knowledge. So that he might know himself this way, too, Anu created Auriel, the soul of his soul. Auriel bled through the Aurbis as a new force, called time. With time, various aspects of the Aurbis began to understand their natures and limitations. They took names, like Magnus or Mara or Xen. One of these, Lorkhan, was more of a limit than a nature, so he could never last long anywhere. As he entered every aspect of Anuiel, Lorkhan would plant an idea that was almost wholly based on limitation.
itll be set a couple hundred years after 5 and the thalmor and civil war will be footnotes in history
Except the Dunmer, of course, who have implicitly made Lorkhan the center of their philosophy and religion.
"We pledge ourselves to you, the Frame-maker, the Scarab: a world for us to love you in, a cloak of dirt to cherish."
It's going to be a prequel
Given how fickle they are probably. They worship whoever is put in front of them.
They are not a people with many strongly held beliefs.
You have to suffer because your suffering is amusing.
no its fucking not
dudes let's create some LIFE
okay let's do it Lorkhan
rest say fuck no
"man actually your plan fucking sucks FUCK Lorkhan, let's rip his heart out as punishment boys"
all the guys that were on board actually really fucking enjoy the world they created and even the faggots that didn't want to participate are enjoying the fuck out of it
So what did they screw him over like that for? He got the fucking Jyggalag treatment but he ACTUALLY did nothing wrong.
mostly just the Thalmor want to unmake reality
isn't Boethia and Azura in love with Lorkhan? Which is why they led some elves away
Anon they've worshipped the same three Daedra+Lorkhan since the Merethic Era. Even during the Tribunate period part of the deal was that the Tribunes were identified with the Daedric Princes who preceded them. After the Tribunal were killed, they went right back to worshiping the same three Daedra. You can say a lot of shit about the Dunmer but fickleness is not among them.
What if he didn't fuckos, and all of this suffering really is just pointless?
Because then it would be just like real life, and that's boring as fuck writing.
If they believe this why don't they unironically just kill themselves instead of trying to unmake reality? If it is indeed a crucial step surely you'd be better off leaving the step intact
I bet you say that to all the gods.
No baby it is all you. It was always just you.
What about the Aedra?
Just a fling
What about the Ancestors?
Baby, they mean nothing
The Good Daedra?
I was drunk.
The false tribunal?
You know those bitches tricked me.
Going back to the good daedra?
I was hurting. There is only you.
No wonder every divine being in TES hates the Dunmer.
They do, Boethiah especially, but not enough to take part increation rather they want to finish what Lorkhan started and so meddled to create the dunmer. Dunmer wish to complete Lorkhan's test by achieving the Psijic Endeavor and becoming a god (and maybe Amaranth later) but they don't really worship Lorkhan in the same way men do. Men also don't want to leave the mortal plane, they love creation and worship Lorkhan for making it.
and that's a good thing
Because weren’t some the gods who where making the world starting to die or some shit while making it?
The book Invocation of Azura is about this exact thing, and it's a pretty popular book
Even she knows them bitches can't be trusted.
So did the Dwemer find a way to the spiritual realm or did they all cease to exist because they realised they were in a dream but could not become CHIM?
Don't think it will ever actually matter in game. The point of that mystery is that it is a mystery. It is background fluff.
Because they see themselves as the heroes freeing everyone from the prison. Also not sure what the punishment is for suicide in the Elder Scrolls universe otherwise you'd be seeing a lot of people just killing themselves to become an undying spirit.
Well it could be a cool plot for ES7 (lol) imagine if they all just reappear out of nowhere but to them it feels like they never left. Could be a cool story. How they react to a completely new world. Some just getting installs spawn killed by suffocation because the place they originally disappeared from now has a wall there or something.
it'd be cool if it was found out Dwemer failed chim and are trapped in a false reality
They've been reduced to atoms screaming in agony as the living skin of a giant robot.
Emil is creatively bankrupt so I wouldn't put an asspull like that past him.
The answer is there is no answer; it's whatever you want it to be.
Yes because being a spirit is objectively better.
The dwemer didn't really want to ascend rather hated the world in it's entirety because TES world is an idealist world and not material.
It was unfashionable among the Dwemer to view their spirits as synthetic constructs three, four, or forty creational gradients below the divine. -Baladas Demnevanni
They were obsessed with finding what's real, becuase of this they built a giant NO robot that would deny the world and what it couldn't deny would the truth. From MK:
In Tamriel, and specifically the Dwarves, that aspect is what I can only call Heroic Abrogation of Everything, a complete and utter refusal to accept what everyone else experiences as the real.
In the process they nope'd out of reality whether on purpose or accident, we don't know.
Good to see that you don't have an argument, flatearther. Why don't you go eat more mud, retard.
No they didn't. Trainwiz isn't some loremaster, he's just an autist.
If you are mad at being born you do have options.
Just saying.
I still kinda respect the dwarves for never feeling they were below the so called “gods”. That one dwarf who used slight of hand to prove the daedra for example where not omnipotent that they could be tricked like any other person.
It's as good a theory as any.
every single TES protag has and always will be a lizard
Dwemer will never be a proper player race will they?
all this amazing lore
not a single good game
what a waste
Good to see that you don't have an argument, flatearther
Don't mock Flat Earthers! We have members around the globe!
Come Nerevar Friend or Foe come…
There's so much lore to Elder Scrolls. After playing ESO for 5 years it's still hard to wrap my head around.
No TES has been, or ever will be a lizard, or cat.
Kill Mer
Stab Mer
Chop Mer heads
Curb Stomp Mer
Circumcise Mer ears
Skin Mer
Torch Mer
Shred Mer
Aren't they all either zero-summed or bloated with Corprus?
Why does Todd hate morrowind so much?
probably, doesn't mean they can't be asspulled back into existence, or have a game take place before they became angry ghosts
Do you recommend eso anon?
It is around 25 years old. He doesn't hate it. He just doesn't remember much about it.
That's not his theory, retard.
eso lore
If an Altmer and an Imperial have a kid is it a men or mer?
It's a good game, lots of questing to do fully voice acted. End game has PVP, Raids, Trading with a ton of shit to collect. Housing, too. I bought tons of crowns with in game gold because I was really good at making gold. It's a good game, if you just have the base game and a subscription that unlocks 90% of everything.
I'd recommend it, for me personally, I've played it so much that it's nothing new to me.
I mean the Dwemer returning is a really easy next plot to do after the Thalmor on ES6 which seems almost guaranteed. They could let you play as a Dwemer chosen one or something in ES7.
The children always takes after the mother's race, with some characteristics of the father's.
He's a nexus refugee, give him a break. Probably thinks CHIM means you're in a videogame.
Isn't that fake news?
I mean, if the Ayleid can come back in the future, maybe zerosumming isn't the complete erasure of existence we think it is? The factorial of 0 is 1, so just because a concept was erased by zero-summing, who's to say the Godhead couldn't just dream the same concept again at a later date?
Will we ever get some Akavir kino?
That's unironically a Reddit theory. Nothing in-game supports the "THALMOR WANTS TO DESTROY THE TOWERS" idea, they are just your average elf supremacist faction.
If you buy the game and then pay them each month to play it it is good.
They saw you coming.
In Oblivion there is a device called the Orrery in the mage guild and one of the npcs says there’s another in Hammerfell. Could this device have relevance in ES6? I’m not sure what an Orrery actually does.
they have the setting for 6 all laid out for them already, if its really in Hammerfell. there will be a lot more Thalmor and you will like it.
Not if they keep going back to Hammerfell every other game.
Yes and (((mer))) are just practicing the kballah. Full Tikkun olam invert the world worship demons (daedra) and somehow this reverses creation.
Orrery are just maps of the celestial bodies. In this case, it'd be a 3D map of Mundus, no?
Boethiah is occasionally referred to as Lorkhan’s daughter and it’s possible she was made from scraps of the divines that weren’t used in creation.
There’s some evidence Hermaeus Mora was made out of unused bits of Akatosh.
Mora was made from the unused plans of Nirn, not Akatosh. He's basically a reject Earth.
I could see the Thalmor or Hero using this in the main quest to find some secret macguffin or some shit.
It’s probably just a reference to the observatory/orrery in the shitty Redguard game
I'm glad it's set in the period that "no one talks about" so they can do stupid things have the Aldmeri Dominion also exist in the exact same way it is in the 4th Era and at the exact same time there's an alliance between Nords, Dunmer and Argonian who have no common culture and historically hate each other.
Because killing yourself doesn't turn you back into an Ed'Ada, your soul just gets recycled through Aetherius and you're reborn
Any TES game you'll play in the future will have huge parts of its lore defined by ESO. This is something you will have to deal with.
It seems like a lot of Daedric lords were made at or post convention. Is Nocturnal the only one we know for certain predates convention?
Well in Oblivion it's powerful enough to give you different powers depending on phases of the moons.
Ah you are probably right. O forgot that shit existed.
align the celestial bodies in accordance to a specific day of the year to open a secret door revealing the Elder Scroll that you need to gather for lore reasons
Knowing Bethesda, they'd write out the answer in some book or on a wall in the same room as the puzzle orrery or some shit.
give you different powers depending on phases of the moons.
You already get different powers depending on the star sign you're born under, that's not really notable.
Molag Bal, Azura, Hircine, Namira is also stated to be an Ur-Dra, Sanguine, Peryite is supposedly super old, Vile, Vaermina
Alliance between Nords, Dunmer and Argonian
They really put the all the best races in the same faction? Never played eso but I can already tell that’s the most popular faction.
Those are divine powers. These are brought about through tonal architecture brought about by the Dwemer that you can change out. Now in this case you boost one attribute while draining another so it's basically for buffing stats you're focusing on.
Never said they were bad races, just not ones that would be working together because culture and ideology. It'd be like Germany and Russia rather than attack Poland, asked to join them in their non-aggression pact.
No I agree with you, I’ve just never payed attention to eso so was surprised they put them 3 races together seeing as they are very popular. I assume Khajits and Orcs are carrying there respective factions.
Khajits are Aldmeri and Orcs are with the Bretons and Redguard which is weird because for TES5 they joined the Aldmeri because they brought back the moons when they had disappeared, so I don't know what their reasonings are this time and for the Orcs everyone is constantly sacking Orsinium so I don't get why they would be allies ever. With the Empire in turmoil Imperials can join any faction. I hope TES6 doesn't try to mimic ESO in seeing newer forms of these alliances re-emerge.
Altmer don't want to do the psijic endeavor though
That is going forward with Lorkhan's plan
They want to go BACK
en.uesp.net
Khajiits aren't Aldmeri, Khajiit and Bosmer are the Wild Hunt which is something else entirely. Bosmer and some types of Khajiit resemble Aldmeri, but it's more of an example of "intelligent" convergent evolution.
Y-you j-just liek want to escape da matrix?!?!? Jumping willacks agent smith stop that man!!!
This is you.
It's not escaping the matrix though
They are not achieving chim, they are just becoming immortal
The gods have not achieved CHIM (except talos and MAYBE Lorkhan sort of did)
Is there a full list of all the lore that people find objectionable in ESO?
I always see people rag on it but no one ever seems to actually know what they're talking about and can never actually point out egregious flaws; just one or two nitpicks and then it's back to
ESO LORE IS TERRIBLE
ESPECIALLY THE PART WHERE... UH...
YEAH TERRIBLE, JUST AWFUL LORE
AM I COOL YET?
The new secret daedra mary sue is so fucking retarded I don't even know where to begin
It breaks the whole cosmology of the setting for a very mediocre plotline and is generally lame as fuck.
create life
lorkhan
everyone that particpated was onboard with it
magnus just like decided to escape at the last moment be-because... uh because he totally all the details before hand.
Of course there couldn't be a list, it's everywhere. That's the main problem with ESO lore, it's a tidal wave of slop that flows into every nook and cranny. It'd be faster to just compile all pre-ESO lore than to list all the lame shit ESO has thrown at the wall. Just research literally any topic. You'll immediately come across something and think
huh that feels off, what's the source for that
ESO
every time
Go to the Argonian page on UESP, ctrl-F "ESO" and highlight all matches, then scroll to the sources section. Yeah.
The Thalmor just want to subjugate men/khajit/argonians, they're not wholesome 100 gnostics
He plagiarized from many sources, yes
i wanna know something.
in skyrim right, you go into a dungeon and you get attacked by some ghosts.
when you kill those ghosts, where do they go. and how can you kill a ghost in the first place. theyre already dead.
muh achieving chim
Can you point to one example for this mythical carrot at the end of the proverbial goyim stick?
inb4 vivek
Was less then a daedric prince and even then the altmer have their own gods achieved with out buying into the suffering hobo pyramid scheme.
if the altmer want to escape reality why don't they just fucking kill themselves
can someone explain to me what the hell is a tower
meanwhile:
flesh eating bacteria eating the muscles out of a deer
intestinal parasite grows so long it extends multiple meters out of a bear's anus
flies hollow out a cow's eye while it's alive to lay eggs in it
a hippie is seeing a bloodred sky and piles of corpses everywhere because he ate a datura flower
birds are cannibalizing each other and fucking the corpses
you're right to say that we shouldn't escape this physical reality, because we can't. but we must rectify it, put order to the chaos, minimize suffering and maximize well-being. once the physical reality's flaws and letdowns are fixed, no one will want to escape it. make a world that the spirits would beg to return to.
I meant that they were in the Aldmeri Dominion in ESO, not that they were elves themselves. Khajiit are their own thing like Argonians.
based trips/answer, but it doesn't address his question
if the altmer want to escape reality why don't they just fucking kill themselves
Would it hurt you retards to try and understand what you're talking about BEFORE chiming in?
Death is not an escape from the samsara lorkhan created
Their souls just get recycled into new beings if they did that
would it hurt you to get a whiff of this? *farts in your face*
there's a quick solution to their problem, just neck yourself(or get some help from friendly nords) and become ethereal
They keep reality together from what I remember. The Thalmor wanna destroy them to unmake Mundus.
Calm down Sotha Sil
The Dragonborn has been helping them with that
be altmer
hate life
kill self
reincarnated into white imperial
life becomes great
Just a small reminder here. Like akatosh is the soul of anus soul. Lorkhan is the soul of Padmays soul (Sithis). Yep, you got that right, these retards are prisoners cheering on their prison in the analogy. A prison created by a literal god of limitation who was derived from the god of death and endings.
would it hurt you to get a whiff of this? *farts in your face*
Yep, the smartest nord has entered the chat.
no, fuck you. i was the only one of the three that had any constructive thought, i'd have proven all of you wrong if it wasn't for that bitch almalexia
fuck you too vivec, have fun floating around in your temple or in your meaningless plane of existence or whatever
ANUS?
reincarnated into white imperial
finally altmer girls start fawning over you
Weird because my dragon born has never harmed a single thalmor agent. All I see is endless piles of stormfolks and imperial corpses.
well that's weird because MY dragon born raped your dragon born's mom to death
The goyim ITT aren’t ready to hear about Tikkum Olan. I doubt they could even handle metzitzah b’peh
The Last Dragonborn™ canonically rapes every Thalmor patrol on sight
Weird because my dragonborn was a modded in sload.
modding Skyrim is basically me the player becoming CHIM and making the world how I want
Kino.
Did you remember to thank Lorkhan for making the world today?
weird because my dragonborn was a buxom clown girl that I took a ton of screenshots of (and blew perhaps as many loads to) but I lost them all
CHIM is just autism
Todd has the biggest CHIM because he can impose fundamental aspects of his vision on other Sleepers.
Deep lore.
He is the Toddhead
Knife eared cunt detected
You literally have to kill thalmor as part of the main story
it's not altmer either, retard. it's the thalmor. the psijics which compose primarily of altmer are vehemently against the thalmor's emo faggotry
Thalnor seem to be intentionally or unintentionally following the path of the Dwarfs. Wouldn’t be surprised they all end up proofing from existence aswell. Maybe this can be limited to the Altemeri Dominion specifically so not all High Elves are removed from Tamriel.
Half the Daedric Princes share like, the same sphere with different names.
There's "Darkness" but also "Shadow"
"Treachery, Plotting" but "Corruption, plans", "Deception", "Change".
It's all literally the same word, explain this.
Main story? Never heard of it.
my dragon born
daedra are autistic
Just like real life religion.
Spirits/ghosts are real in the ES universe. Normally when you die in the ES, your spirit will go to whatever constitutes heaven for your race. Usually these are the domains of the various Gods. If a Daedra has a claim on your soul (for example, Hircine gets your soul if you are a werewolf, Molag Bal gets Vampires, Malacath gets Orcs, etc), you go to their realm.
Ghosts are souls that, because of trauma or magic or whatever, are trapped in Mundus instead of going to whatever realm they are supposed to go to. When you "kill" a ghost, or any other kind of undead for that matter, you are effectively severing their soul from the mortal coil and sending them on their way.
If I make reality fake and gay enough, they will become stronger beings in order to transcend it.
plagiarized
Yeah he absorbed the soul of a dragon before wandering the world emptying skyrim of its disease currently making itself at home. Just as Auri-El would've wanted of him.
oh yeah well guess what's about to compose most of the air in your lungs *farts down your throat*
Also if you die and are hit with a soul trap spell before death you are sent to the soul cairn instead.
There isn't some order to their spheres where the Daedra need to watch over the aspect of the thing they preside over. The Daedra are just assholes who wanted to take part in the creation of the World because they thought it was neat because shit actually "Mattered" when you fuck with mortals.
For example Mephala, Boethiah, and Molag Bal are all Daedra of "Treachery" because they're all assholes who think it's funny to watch mortal betray each other. Not because "Treachery" as a concept needs a God. They just enjoy it because of their natures.
Life without death is meaningless. It'd be nicer it we lived way, way longer than we do but the existence of an endpoint serves as motivation to do things. Immortality leads to passivity.
Is it possible to escape the soul cairn? Like if you offered your soul to a daedra but some asshole trapped your ass in a black soul gem wouldn’t the daedra be kinda pissed?
Technically speaking your soul is actually trapped in the soul gem until it's used, THEN your soul gets reformed in the soul cairn.
That's why that one dude tries to hide inside Azura's Star in Skyrim treating it like a pocket dimension.
It's less major changes (Like making Mannimarco a fujobait demigod half a millennium before he actually attains semi-godhood or [She who will not be named]) and more a vast simplification and borification of each culture and land. Plus the hell of filler articles and addendums added to UESP to the point where you actually have to sift through the sources to see if it is real lore or not.
ESO is not canon
Mephala, Boethiah
Another thing worth bringing up. Two daedra highly known for their love of treachery. Also two daedra firmly in lorkhans camp. Something tells me lorkhan worshippers are the same demographic as the the people who are targeted by scammers are.
I don't respect ESO nor do I recognize it as a real TES game, so everything it says is fanfiction. The quality of its writing is irrelevant, it's an MMO. It's the same deal with F76: not real lore because it's not a real Fallout game, it's MMO dogshit.
But ES6 will be and it will include that stuff. A writer for ES6 has already mentioned an Ithelia questline on Twitter.
There is suffering, but there is joy.
life with out death is meaningless
Slave morality at its finest. Have you ever lived a life without death btw mr wise one?
gnosticism is not only fake and gay, it's also boring which is the real crime
I don't think there's a concrete answer, but I'd assume the Daedric princes could interfere. Probably a pain though
Can you give me their name and address? I, uh, want to talk them out of it. Yeah.
Oy gevalt! Won't somebody think of the copyright holders!? The royalties were promised to us 3000 years ago!
There is suffering, but there is joy.
There was joy before.
All deities, hell all creatures arguably fall on a scale of whether they're Anuic (Order and Stasis) or Padomayic (Chaos and Change). Most Daedra lean towards being Padomay while most Aedra lean towards Anu. Humans on a cultural scale are slightly Padomayic (Except Redguards) while Elves are broadly Anuic (Except Dark Elves).
Your assertion is backwards because It's mostly the Anuic deities who got scammed hard by Lorkhan to serve as the pillars of his world.
All those things are only terrible because you are trying to set your notion of order over things. Like trying to sing the song you want to sing despite the band playing a different tune. Creation is perfect if you're content to be sovereign wherever you sit.
Oh don't get me wrong, I'd prefer to live for around 100k years or so, but forever is probably bad for humans as a whole. But who knows, I certainly don't have an answer for how that'd affect us. Maybe it'd be the complete opposite, and knowing that they could live forever, people would value themselves more, and put effort into taking care of their bodies and minds.
Or we'd go insane and slip into total apathy as a species, losing all motivation to move forward in a few centuries. With no pressing concern of death, humans just kind of sit around entertaining themselves. Farming is more than enough to keep the (then dwindled) global population alive and it'll probably be totally automated. It'd be nice but we would go extinct on this rock.
My real worry is immortal leaders. Having a plutocratic upper class who never die and are all content to fuck over the other several billion humans who will obviously not be allowed immortality. There a possibility they'd care more about the planet since they'd actually be around to live through whatever horrors they create but let's be honest, that's not happening. They'll just find a way to insulate themselves until it becomes impossible.
Getting your eyes eaten out by a parasite is only terrible because you're a control freak.
O-okay. Lorkhan and his fucking masochist freaks I swear to Auri-El
Todd and Kirkbride said otherwise.
This is completely baseless, but I imagine it's like all the other "afterlife" situations in ES where you eventually reincarnate back into Mundus after a certain amount of time.
As for the Daedra, it's speculated that "loosing" souls is just part of the game for them. For example the characters in every ES game technically should have multiple Daedric claims to their souls, which shouldn't even be fucking possible. My guess is that the Soul Cairn gets a higher priority than the Daedra.
akatosh is the soul of anus
he sure is lololololololololol
I mean Jygallag is another forgotten daedric prince who is also a Gary Stu aswell and no one complains about him.
The Endeavor isn't about escaping but continuing the dream.
How powerful is the Night Mother and can the Aedra or Daedra destroy her
to them the spirit realm was already a prison,
Funny because the two beings that escaped moved back to the spirit realm thus proving Nirn is indeed a cage.
Thats why both Nords and Dunmer are my favorite races
The night mother is literally a rogue Morag Tong agent(in reality she's doing Mephala's will to expand her reach beyond Morrowind)
night mother
she's 100 an aspect of another Daedra already
salesman
no longer relevant
jyggalag had to shed his own realm of oblivion
You kill the original canonical Night Mother in Morrowind. Everything after that are dead puppets of Mephala.
Adding on to this who’s stronger her or the dread father?
Pretty sure Night Mother is Just Mephala after she got bored of the Dunmer or foresaw that the Morag Tong was going to get mostly wiped out after the Year of Red Mountain.
In Skyrim she purposefully talked to you instead of Cicero or any of the longstanding members of the Brotherhood because she knew it would create drama and she thinks that's hilarious. Classic Mephala.
almalexia isnt the night mother
no he was an annoying obsessive compulsive dissorder just imagine sheogorath going full imperial guard STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM
Sithis is just another name or an embodiment of the Primordial force of Chaos. It doesn't really have a will it just embodies everything that leans towards that affinity. So from that aspect Padomay/Sithis is vastly more powerful than the Night Mother but it doesn't really "do things" the same way she does.
No I'm talking about the Morag Tong questline. One of the assassination targets is the founder of the Dark Brotherhood which is identified as a former agent of Morag Tong that betrayed them.
en.uesp.net
Dark Brotherhood were originally portrayed as Dagon worshippers
ESO lore is peak (I have never played it though)
I have never played it though
BASED
You completely misunderstand Jygallag. He isn't on the same level as Ithelia, in that he was 'forgotten' because he was transformed into Sheogorath whose influence was keenly felt, and all mentions of Jygallag faded from his inception. He was forgotten in a similar vein as to how Celtic pagan deities are largely forgotten. He's also not a Mary Sue because his ass got beat and condemned to repeat the same cycle that led to his transformation into Sheogorath in the first place. Both Jygallag and Sheogorath are the same entity, until they aren't.
Ithelia is 'forgotten' due to the machinisations of other Daedra who somehow erased all memory and knowledge of her from existance, and whose existance flies directly in the fact of well-established rules regarding the sacred number 16 in Elder Scrolls. Eight Divines, Sixteen Daedra; each spoke is flanked by two spaces. The Sixteen Accords of Madness. The Sixteen Kingdoms of the Khajiit. The Wheel symbol of the Elder Scrolls universe which is so deeply baked into aesthetics and cosmology of the setting cannot exist with a 17th Daedra. I can't even begin to convey how stupid it is to add in a secret Daedra, nevermind one so poorly written and hastily contrived.
It's amazing people still think Jygallag is real.
if the hero of my Krotch its sheogorath proven in skyrim of course it exist
Eight Divines + Two Moons.
8 x 2 = 16
Jyggalag escaped the shivering isles and left behind his power base and is essentially starting from scratch its not surprising that you dont hear about him
He isn't. You never got any powers. Everything you can do are powers given to you by Haskill. Not only that you have ask him for shit that the real Sheogorath can do at will. The hero got pranked into believing he's a god. Also Sheogorath talking about events from SI is no proof as he talks about different madmen like he was them in SI and Skyrim(entire quest is him talking about things only Pelagius can know).
they re good when they scrap fom older games not popular lore, their latest daedric princess sucks and copypaste jyggalag "crystalian aesthetic"
Jyggalags servants aren't daedra just madmen in costumes. It's can't be more obvious.
Surely there is mention of him outside the realm of madness which would confirm he exists?
denied the authority of God
build a giant machine whose superpower is telling God "no"
first thing the machine does is look at its creators (its God) and erase them from existence
Oh no!
if an AI did the same thing you would say it was stealing
honey for me but not for bee
it's "tikkun olam"
Redpill me on the Sea Elves
N..n...no anon, clearly your big tittied argonian of kvatch physically transformed into the exact same shegorrath
Imagine elves but they’re all like this
