Anyone playan
MONSTER TRAIN 2
That's fucking sexy
Woah there Alextrasa, lay off the Life Energy...
pyrocynical would love this game
WHY ARE FAT SCAILY BELLYS SO EROTIC!
this can't be real
Mushroom stacking and moon cycling are both incredibly fun
They symbolize greed, opulence, power. All attractive traits... if you're a submissive type.
*rolls hips*
this effect is broken as fuck
once you're at stage 3 or so she'll have >150x2 attack at the beginning of the fight and end up with at least another hundred by the end
the only thing that can stop her is spikes and that's easily remedied with equipment, lifesteal or regen
I've yet to find a way to put AoE on her but trample is usually enough, which is easily accessible
post more dragons from this
I got to covenant 5 but I'm still missing the motherfucking underwhatever faction
Game seems much much easier than StP even when comparing the early moments of both games
How is trample easily accessible? You gotta lray you get a bird with it or an equipment as you can't upgrade champions
This, please.
I don’t play cardlikes
Fell off after a few runs. The new stuff just isn't really interesting and everything largely feels like an over complication of 1.
well yeah, but the bird is in the banished's roster, you can just recruit one
it's not to say you can't get fucked over by RNG but I find one almost every single run
Alright nigger, you have my boner's attention, now tell me more about this game.
it's slay the spire but good
I put her on top of the rain and filled bottom levels with Greed Dragons as her simp guardians. It was fun run
awoken/lazarus is a lot of fun
People will compare it to card shit but it's largely actually a tower defense. You have a train with 3 levels and a heart at the end. enemies climb towards the heart and you put down units to kill them. units/spells/etc. come in card format but there's not a lot of card deck game strategies that are prevalent. the bulk of the gameplay inbetween fights is select 1/2 paths that will reward units/spell, shops, or events.
I'd pick up 1 first (it's better) or play the demo first.
Ayyyy lmaooo what the fungi
I think Lazarus and Underlegion are my two favorite clans by far. This is so much fun.
get to 8 hoard
largestone + multiattack greed dragon
duplicate
win
you don't even have to think, you just play them on floors 1 and 2, give them an item (ideally the shield one that acts like thorns) and press end turn until you win
hoard persisting between fights is what makes it broken as hell, they'll probably nerf that or GD in some way
*solos 70% of enemies on floor 1*
Bros, what's the most efficient way to get this Pyre? I want to unlock the titan fights and this Pyre is taking an eternity.
This is what I did on my first win but made it even more broken by giving them both the shields that do damage on being hit based on HP.
I also had a real strong churn for hoard but keeping buffed greed dragons was just too strong to experiment. they really should have let you over cap on hoards but the benefits was locked at 8/whatever you've unlocked.
lust provoking image
decay with mushrooms
the shields that do damage on being hit based on HP.
yeah, that's the one i meant, just couldn't remember the name of it
hilariously broken, just slap it on any tank with >100 HP and watch the enemies kill themselves on it
Alright. And as my allied clan? Stygian for the frostbite? Or Lazarus?
What's your favorite pyre heart? I like Fhyra's Greed, it works well with the blight shards you get at the beggining.
i did pyreborn for pyregel personally
i really love the full heal one
Oh yeah, forgot about Pyregel. Thanks
She needs to be fatter.
But not to the point she's a flabby blob but immobile with a nice big belly and fat rolls.
I believe an anon in a previous thread posted this unit and I didn't undertand how broken it is. Holy fuck this is an absolutely insane carry. Nigga exploding for 200 AoE damage literally every round of every fight. Crazy.
My favorites so far are Aquath (3 ember on command) and Herzal (4 extra deployment ember)
Is the music still good?
I didn't notice that synergy. I've been using Lifemother (for easy dupes) and Wyngh for heals. But I'm going to try Bogwurm on my next run to see check broken is it to "free" using one of my two pyre upgrades for room capacity and instead use 1 for ember and 1 for card draw (I literally always use1 ember 1 for space).
love the mushroom people
I cannot get a win with Luna coven as either primary or support, but I’m up to ascension 6 using everyone else. They just feel so weak and their cards are only useful half the time
This better or worse than the first game?
use a mageblade build
I just started playing and i'm 2 for 2 but holy fuck that corruption seraph is going to tear me a new one on higher covenant ranks. have to completely build everything around that, christ
hot dragon
hot feet
1 isn't better but 2 is more cringe
I like the addition to the game (you pick a heart that gives you different passives, there are 5 new clans, there are now equipment cards and room cards,) but honestly the whole thing feels like an extremely fancy mod add-on than a sequel
if you go all the way on that tree she gets another attack at >75 valor
Still not as fun as little fade though
Because your lack of human touch and emotional connection has driven your fetishes to ever deeper depths
That's not too bad I guess. I'll just put it on my "when it's on sale" list.
try moon fairy niggers
increase encant with each spell
room that decreases cost of spells
spell that duplicates a spell
spellchain that duplicate a spell
duplicate the duplicate
just keep duplicating to duplicate
cast a bunch of 0 cost spells
destroy everything with the 0 cost spell ramping to insane numbers
if anything even survives lmao moonblade or whatever the fuck is on the champion giving it supid attack
I don't know why this game itches my monkey fucking brain this much but it does.
reminds me of that fat dragon bitch in WOW.
I was semi-addicted to the first one but I find the second one just really boring and I can't really explain why.
How did you end up with multiple mushroom heroes?
Yeah I had a fun build that just spawned more and more Roon Rituals (through Lunar Priestesses) which changes the moon phase for free while also increases magic power so it triggers mageblade increasing power even more. And then two Mooncallers on the same floor makes the weapon stack permanent power even faster
And then the hero just gives armor for every spell cast so it had defensive power as well. It's so fun spamming a ton of spells like that and permascaling to the moon (pun intended)
Under what fucking context do I use this bitch? Her deck seems fucking ass
There is science people card that removes equipment from unit and creates copy of the unit, didn't expect it to work on the hero but it did.
>increase encant with each spell
The other two are so ass compared to this one it's not even funny, if I don't get it on the 1st I just reset
Mystery box cavern event that lets you pack three spells into one
Remove consume
Holdover
Dupe it
I can't win with the hellhorned on covenant 10
Related; that equipment that gives multistrike but causes the unit to be purged if it dies? You can equip your Champion with it. And it does exactly what you're thinking.
lady
came instantly
looks and plays like an average mobile game
stacking valor on her is the only way I can win this game, everything else seems ass
I enjoyed the first game, but got disappointed once I figured out that the optimal play was to focus on 1-2 units played on the same floor. Did 2 do anything to improve this?
Plague meido harem is pretty funny, too bad spikes utter cucked them aka the bitch who spawns a spiked statue in front of her
More like lardy
Yes, the unit and enemy design heavily encourage you to play in a variety of ways and while some runs you'll stack everything in one flor (not necessarily the top one) you'll more often spread out your strenghts. Unlike MT1 which you could mostly only beat on high covenants by doing the exact same 2 things over and over, there's a million ways to break this game.
Not all factions are balanced, I find Banished (the starting one) to be the a little bit weak but the rest are absolutely cracked. I'm on covenant 9 (out of 10) and having a great fucking time.
Sometimes your homie is just ridiculously buff
Sometimes you just have 3 of him
Maybe the angels were just pillarmen all along
final boss barely dies to Decay right before killing my pyre
Alright fuck the mushroom lady im not playing her again
you did not beat the game
I've only had consistent wins using the mushrooms so far. Wish I was smart enough to make another build work then spamming shrooms.
She's absolutely busted
That slime boss is bullshit, if you don't have any units with multi-hit he'll just steamroll all the way to your engine with 10 attacks
While i still won with ease, the fact he could still my mushroom stack is testament to how overtuned that corruption faggot is
Melting Remnant is also easy to play.
What's the best combo to unlock the last 2 clans? I feel like it's taking ages
This game is doa
The trick is to power up and duplicate the fairy cocksleeves that give all your units +spellpower
then even the most basic bitch spell will end up dealing 500+ damage
full goldmaxxing, make thousands of gold, buy out every shop, reroll forever and use the OP money spells
female
finally..
Dante is INSANELY overpowered.
Just slap any damage upgrade and he just clears the whole game solo
She looks like me... I... thank you...
El Donte can kill both angels and demons well, very fitting
Fire room is ridiculously good. Clears out all the chaff. Biggest problem I find is just not having enough attacks to clear out the back line.
Quite like the revenge unit on the first faction, seem quite easy to get him going as support.
brrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaappppp
spikes you
endless+quick
clone him
lose the run because I'm drawing 40 candles
and I'd do it again
Casual slop. Way too easy. First one is also easy. Someone told me that is comparable to StS when the first came out.
Second one also has some questionable AI looking art (probably touched up)
I don't like fatties.
using a bunch of big fancy spells and stacking buffs on all your units to beat seraph
You didn't beat the game.
killing your champion 10 times to beat seraph
This is how you beat the game.
0.2%
This might be one of my most rare achievements I've ever gotten.
Are people not playing dimensional challenges or what?
The Covenant4 achievement is pretty low too for what it is. Did people just buy the game and then not play it?
I've dumped 17 hours and haven't played a single challenge, still doing covenants. C9 so far.
I'm so fucking glad you pretty much have to win three or four runs to unlock the clans from 1 more games need to hard filter shitters from even knowing content is there.
I did one for the pyre unlock but that's it.
They're great fun. You're missing out.
And it's neat that the challenges finally allows you to play mutators without your scores essentially being invalidated. The only catch being that you don't get to choose the mutators. But that's honestly preferable to begin with.
I'll play them eventually, I'm still exploring everything the game has to offer on normal mode.
can't get a covenant rank 10 win with little fade
Didn't think I would struggle this much with them
Nice top floor you got there, would be a shame if i Resolved
I learned this the hard way.
Is there any point in setting up on the top floor in MT2? Feels like there's too many bosses that become impossible if you don't stop them on floor 1
I won a few covenant runs doing exactly that.
It's a case by case basis, but for example, having Infernal Room + anything that needs big stacks or set up benefits from top flooring.
I didn't know what to expect but this guy is absolutely fucking incredible. What a run holy fuck. It's so broken. Everything is so broken.
post covenant
Penumbra my beloved, all that I care is that he's back
This game is basically perfect, big fan of all the new clans
WAVES REMAINING 2 BAHYBEEE
Mageblade seems to be pretty good huh
I like the luna coven strategies, there seem to be a lot of ways to cycle the moon phases quickly and it combos well with Banished so you can move units to one floor
setting up a killfloor on the top without a way to shoot he boss upward
asking for a loss.
Mooncaller is stupidly powerful, as are those faes that have an activated skill that swaps moon phases. Getting the 5x dupe event can be so strong since you'll have one kill floor and the other two are just little guys you click on to get way stronger each turn
i want to have sex with monsters
I had two of those active skill phase swappers as starter cards and I put endless on one of them about halfway through. He did so much work through the run by himself
Where is wyrmkin? Why does covenant only go to 10? Has anyone found any broken stuff with banished they seem kind of tame/not op like underlegion and lazarus. How do I get more dragon hoards past 8?
How do I get more dragon hoards past 8
there's a relic you can get that lets you collect more dragonhorde. I think I've only seen it spawn from the dragonhord itself. So basically get horde to 8, then loot it, then hope you loot the relic that lets you go past 8. That seems to be how it's designed.
To be fair these ramp up alot faster and do alot more interesting things.
holy shit, guess I need to play more Pyreborne
I've been playing the fuck out of MT2, I could use some help on some of the Dimensional Portals, especially the ones that ascend/descend units. Underlegion is my favorite.
hey just what I was looking for, how do you unlock this? Do I have to do all of them or is it just in one of the paths? Which one if so?
Coming later according to a dev on Discord
Covenants scale faster, MT2 cov 10 is equivalent to MT1 cov 25, there's just fewer inbetween levels
Banished is fine, you're not abusing Shift enough
Cash in your hoard, both the minor and major relic slot have a reward that can increase the cap. You'll need high turnover to hit the cap multiple times in a run, preferably every single combat. Upgrading an Alchemy with remove consume + -2 and consume is a good way to do this
Oh, I've been playing daily run or just dying to that Corruption titan. How do you get the other titans? I never ever get one of the other two that exist.
Kept sleeping on Lionmane's Maneater
It's her strongest build by far
You're thinking of Corruption Seraph. The Titans are the true final boss, you can start fighting them after unlocking all 9 pyre hearts. Prepare your anus
Banished is beyond broken with shift abuse.
guessing they want to add Wurmkin alongside a new clan so its 12.
OHH ok, FUCK, I am bad at this game then
The final fight was a bit more difficult than I envisioned but still nailed it. Covenant 10 unlocked!
It's covenant 10 really the equivalent to covenant 25 in MT1? This game is so much more fun and better paced holy shit, they nailed it. I unironically want to test all the combinations.
