Why does nobody talk about it? People talked about BotW for years, but TotK was forgotten quick

Why does nobody talk about it? People talked about BotW for years, but TotK was forgotten quick.

it's significantly harder than botw so all the casual Anon Babbletards didn't beat it

Because BotW was better.

why does nobody talk about shitty mod of botw as much as the original

Ocarina of Time is shit. A Link to the Past is superior in every way.

What? There are threads about it every few hours

Because it was derivative instead of innovative. Because it tended to rehash BotW's plot points despite ostensibly being a sequel. Because it couldn't commit to anything and continued to return to the status quo. Because it tried to pretend BotW didn't exist and tried everything it could to excise connections to its prior game.

Breath of the Wild was better. Hell, Age of Calamity was better.

significantly harder

How? Same slop, different flavor. The building feature breaks the game.

shitty mod of botw

But enough about Genshin.
TOTK is better than baby's first Ubisoft open world shit but made by Nintendo.

It was massively disappointing. Making a direct sequel in the same world was a mistake if they weren't going to try with the story and world building. They should have done something like MM and just reused the assets but set the whole game in an unrelated world or another timelibe or dimension or something. Traversing the same map sucked ass and having ANOTHER lost civilization story that followed BotW's beat for beat was retarded.

harder

Bro it doesn't even have fucking master mode
I swear that Totk apologists have stopped trying

This. TOTK is THE only Zelda game to make a sequel using the same EXACT world plus “muh islands” and inverted caverns. Tf were these complacent JAPS thinking?

still no master mode

Screencap this post: Nintendo will rerelease totk as a switch 2 launch title with master mode included. They know that their retarded fanbase would rebuy the same game just for a literal 1mb patch

It was a massive let down. Making a direct prequel in a different world was a mistake if they weren't going to make up stories and buildings. They should have done something like TP and just use ass sex but set the whole game in the same world or another timelibe or dimension or something. Traversing different maps sucks eggs and having ANOTHER lost civilization story that followed TP's beat was retarded.

Hell, Age of Calamity was better.

Hey, let's not go too crazy. They're exactly the same garbage
Totk made me want play botw instead
AoC made me want play HW1 instead

I didn't like how it's a direct sequel but conspicuously goes out of its way to ensure as little from the previous game matters as possible. It just felt weird.

Tbf, middle aged millennial women still play this and see new builds on whatever the fuck an “Instagram” is. They’re just disconnected from normal gamers.

I don't even care about the fucking reused world, I like seeing the progression of time. It was neat to see towns and cities in Age of Calamity that were just ruins by the time of Breath of the Wild. It's all the other shit that's disappointing.

the ubislop formula got boring with BOTW already.
then they decided to make the laziest of rehashes.

I loved seeing small tweaks to towns in an already shitty open world map.

You saw that big of a difference? The overworld map matters because it was already too big and had the functionality of a giant nothing burger.

There was at no point during my playthroughs of Age of Calamity did I want to play the original Hyrule Warriors again. And I bought that fucking game twice. There's only so many times I can play through abridged plots of the franchise's games before I get sick of it and just want to play the original game, or something new. I hated most of the characters, I hated the adventure maps, I hated the extra mechanics. Hyrule Warriors was aggravating to play, Age of Calamity was not.

Also another point is Age of Calamity expanding on Breath of the Wild while Tears of the Kingdom does the exact opposite. Yunobo inherited Daruk's barrier shield attack, that's a plot point in Breath of the Wild. In Age of Calamity he tries to distinguish himself from his ancestor by changing the nature of his shielding into different shapes for different effects. In Tears of the Kingdom he doesn't even have the shield anymore, replaced with arbitrary fire powers. Like how the Zora inexplicably all have water powers now too.
In AoC Robbie and Purah team up to fight, in Tears Robbie's all but forgotten, and the forge he spent nearly a century designing to produce weapons for Link was repurposed as the fucking Hyrule Compendium.

Link's Awakening demake was shit, didn't even include photo sidequest due to (((reasons)))

Age of calamity was a Hyrule Warriors downgrade

Tears is shitty DLC tier

Echoes is scribblenauts but worse

Skyward was a bare minimum port, disappointing compared to both WW and TP HD

So, can we all finally agree that Cadence of Hyrule is the only good Zelda game on the switch?

Yes, because I don't have a failing memory and remember what the old towns looked like.

Why did noes nobody talk about Master Quest? People talked about OoT for years, but Master Quest was forgotten quick.

Master quest OoT is just a wet fart. Water temple even became easier for some reason

There was some point during my playthrough of Oracle of Ages did I want to play the original Hyrule Warriors again. And I bought that game twice because I'm fucking retarded. There's only so many times I can play DBZ abridged before I get sick of it and just want to play the original game, or something new. I hated all the characters, I hated the adventure maps, I hated the extra mechanics, and I hate me. Hyrule Warriors was aggravating to play, Oracle of Seaons was not.

Also another point is Tears of the Kingdom expanding on Breath of the Wild while Oracle of Secrets does the exact opposite. Yunobo inherited Daruk's barrier shield attack, that's a plot point in Tears of the Kingdom. In Age of Oracle he tries to distinguish himself from his ancestor by changing the nature of his butt into different shapes for farting effects. In Tears of the Kingdom he doesn't even have the butt anymore, replaced with arbitrary fire fire fire! Like how Avatar has water bending powers.
In AoC Robbie and Purah team up to fight, in Tears Robbie's all but forgotten, and the ironforge he spent nearly a century designing to produce cum for Link's ass was repurposed as the fucking Hyrule Compendium.

meds

Tarrey Town added ramps and added boring sidequests.

Hateno adds dye shop and school with MOAR boring side quests.

Japarino village adds MYSTERIOUS FLOATING DOUGHNUT for you to figure out and talk to some dude about boring ass lore about floating shrines and other boring ass side quests.

I don’t have memory loss either, and even if I did, the towns still function as a drive/fly over state.

Botw master mode only made the game more tedious, not actually harder

Totk is fundamentally all about the Depths. That's where the actual game is. Hyrule and the Sky islands are just so you can become strong enough to actually face the Depths. And it's significantly harder where traversing the world is more dangerous and enemies are tougher to deal with

24 years later, this is probably still the only Zelda game that can be qualified as an actual artistic masterpiece.

Would Nintendo ever have the balls to pull something like this again?

Tarrey Town turned the entire Guardian-infested valley into a testing and experimentation ground. And Hudson forgot Link.
Hateno is covered in gaudy mushroom bullshit. Some of those floating lore islands state that Zelda in the distant past brought that fashion trend there too.
Yes, Kakariko Village got turned into a research center/tourist trap. It's not as good as in BotW, where there's a Yiga connection. But it's still different.

The Depths are conquered with two fans and a control stick. You can fly over literally everything.

Maser Mode is only tedious if you're not creative and don't engage with the game's systems. It discourages bashing your head against a wall. Plenty of other options.

Totk is fundamentally all about the Depths. That's where the actual game is

That explains why I hated the game so damn much. There's NOTHING in the depths aside from fucking amiiboshit and shit to upgrade your battery. I didn't even realize that the place was meant to be a challenge, I thought that it was just shitty busy work of throwing glowing buds around and moving from checkpoint to checkpoint so you can finally start seeing fucking shit
