The game just isn't fun
The game just isn't fun
Elden mid...worst Fromsoft game ever...
ok so tell me what you don't like about it in a minimum of 4 complete sentences, and give me an example of a game that you do find fun. you won't.
It is when you cheese it
my build just isn't fun
ftfy
The game is amazing.
I think its probably From's worst directed game, probably the only memorable moment I have is first seeing Liurnia but then you realize its just mostly nothing there...
Dark Souls 3 despite its linearity felt like a more fun journey through the undead settlement, farron, cathedral etc. Elden Ring is still the better game, but the previous games have better designed worlds, except DS2 which I did like but the world was a bit of a mess.
I don't have fun playing it
I had fun until about Morgott, then the game falls off hard. If you want to find everything, you'll burn out by then, as well.
If you want to find everything, you'll burn out by then, as well.
This didnt happen to me.
the first like 80% of the game is fromsofts best performance yet but the reaction from new players and even oldschool souls fans which influenced fromsofts to nerf the base game and change how they approach designing the DLC made me realize its time to jump ship from the fromsoft train. too many casuals and shitters and retards in the fandom now and fromsoft is actually gunning it for the lowest common denominator instead of sticking to their guns and "letting the balance be the players build choice"
DAT GAMEPLAY FIRE!
more like Elden Roll
Thank aspergers.
More like get stabbed lol!
Beat a few bosses and uninstalled. The setting is too boring for an open world game and beating the bosses was simply not satisfying.
sounds like a (You) problem.
I thought it was still great past Morgott. And I didn't get burnt out, although I highly recommend people take breaks from the game to prevent burnout.
The first 30 or so hours were pretty fun, especially if you didn't find most of the copy pasted dungeons
even those who like the game recommend taking breaks from it to prevent burnout
If this is not a sign of a shit game I don't know what is.
Trying too hard lil sister.
Its just a long game, that's all. Taking breaks from a game doesn't mean its shit. Plus, like I said I didn't get burnt out. I just see that complaint a lot because for some reason people think you have to play a game for 4-8 hours every single day and not get tired of it and only then can you consider it good. Absolutely not, thats just absurd. What kind of grown man even has time to play that long and that consistently?
Wow, got any more?
Nah sorry dragonbro.
Shame, that webm was enjoyable
Yeah, when everything felt new it was great but it fell off a cliff once you understood the formula.
just make a low level twink and invade early game areas lol
I'm glad you liked it!
The game just isn't fun
It's fromslop, what did you expect?
I tried that but hosts kept killing me.
This one is funny because it's a longer loading screen and much more input to make for the host
I take those breaks, but still look at returning with trepidation due to tediousness. It doesn't solve that problem.
Its really funny how the invader's time is completely wasted.
the host clearly values their time much less than the invader
autowin is a waste of time
Amazing how anti-invader fags still think that this achieves anything other than a smirk from the red man at hosts's cowardice and the next instant invasion with one push of a button all the while the host has to basically reload the whole game and do all the setup again.
skill issue.
The same triggered lolcow
I had fun re-pirating it to play the DLC. Beating Mohg at level 44 took me 8 hours, but it was so rewarding. I beat him on my first playthrough at over level 100 so I actually had to learn him.
Then I went to the DLC and it was so bad. You need to be over level 100 to stand a chance.
I'm currently going through all the major bosses in the main game before I re-attempt the DLC. I'm stuck at Malenia. She is not fun. Bad boss.
swing and a miss
remove the open world and its good
Its wild how much that lolcow seethes about nothing
you are a retard.
the open world in ER made me experience exploration lust on a level since gothic 2 again.
dual spears
jump attack
so fucking boring and such a noob.
Yeah, I can't relate.
You don't understand anon, the discord NEEDS to shift that overton window or they won't get their penises back from their mod team.
copy pasted dungeons
Do people forget about the chalice dungeons? Do they not know about Sekiro's myriad reused minibosses? Why is it that everything Elden Ring gets crucified for, previous From games get a pass on?
dragonirian seething
you love to see it
beating mohg at level 44
nice. morgott is also a great boss if you don't fight him overlevled
it's a great game for one playthrough.
too bad the pvp is underwhelming.
back to dark souls 2 pvp it is.
chalice dungeons are the best thing from software released. ever.
Have we transcended "git gud" and now people are openly rejecting Fromsoft's stuff without caring that it's "hard"?
It's a game made for braindead zoomers which have never played a good game before
That's like every single player game ever made.
No.
It's still git gud, but most people have moved to play other stuff while the whiny babies who were humiliated by it are stuck to it trying to shift the narrative.
Pthumeru is dogshit.
Loran is peak.
Isz is okay.
The problem is that you have to do so much of Pthumeru before getting to the good parts that it's borderline torture.
Zoomers don't know shit about gothic but I wholeheartedly agree with you
You didn't have fun riding on a horse for a majority of the game?
honestly you're not not wrong. but i love the chalice dungeons so much.
this
I liked it. It is like your character moving but faster with longer jumps. It really makes the open world pop.
You ride the horse for like 15% of the game. There's enough sites of grace that you'll never find yourself riding torrent for longer than 2 mins before reaching your destination.
I is, it's open world without the quest and dialogue baggage.
You're playing just to see what's out there, in the true and pure spirit of adventure.
The only thing wrong with it is the crafting system.
The crafting system is fine. Within the crafting, rarity drops are an issue.
you didn't play the game
It's a clunky fucking mess, but its fans will lash out at you for disliking forced input lag and locked 60fps.
Console japslop.
high level attacks look and feel the same as lvl1 mobs
topkek
At least gothic had cool shit and amazing dialogue waiting for you. ER is just mobs, mobs, mobs, mobs, mobs
The host (dragonirian) keeps replying lol
I hated it. It felt mindless and broke the enemy encounters. The open world wasn't even that interesting either. All the little ruins you find were the same aside from some having secret entrances but that's it. Im glad they said they'll be going back to smaller projects after this cause this game felt like wasted dev time
I didn't ask how you felt about it though
I did tho. Half the game was the big dungeons and the other half was transversing to said dungeons
So moving faster is superior right?
You didn't have to.
the fact you have endless random generated content is what makes it great.
what flavor of chalice dungeon doesn't really matter. i'm just glad there are different ones.
i wish the ds3/bb/elden ring randomizers gave new nme placements, but they just replace existing ones.
sort of sad, it takes maybe a few days to add different nme placement locations and randomize them with every NG+, keeping NG the same.
It was needless
Then complaining about it is also needless. If there is no need to use the horse then there is no need to complain about it existing.
and the other half was transversing to said dungeons
This is why I'm ready to bet a left nut that you haven't played the game. Everyone who has played the game knows that everything is just 1 minute away from a site of grace and that you'll never have to spend time "traversing the overworld" in order to get to a legacy dungeon or wherever you're going.
In fact, the "wasting time traversing the open world" is a cookie cutter jab people throw at open world games and you though Elden Ring is the same, so now you're here breaking our balls about a game you haven't even played because it didn't sit well with your contrarian self that it was as successful as it was.
I think the longest I ever spent on Torrent was running from the academy to the dragonrian guarding the key for the academy and back. That took maybe 3 minutes.
*who have
ESL
except most of the game isn't the big dungeons,
or traveling between them
it's smaller locations plopped in the world, like mines, wizzard towers, ruins, dragon bosses, castles and so on
you get off your horse for those and all these locations are one stonetoss from each other and usually visible from afar
