PS5 games being 80€ already sucks. I only got one game at full price and opt to wait (it's easy as there aren't many interesting games on PS5 in the first place lol) for price drops. Such price drops won't happen for 1st party Nintendo games.
Another issue is MK World being 90€. Sure, I'll get the bundle, but you can bet other big games like Zelda and Smash will also be 90€ (they were already 70€ on Switch when everything else was 60).
Hopefully Nintendo will announce a new voucher program for Switch 2 games. But I'd rather buy physical.

The gamecard bus is only 25MB/s and mask rom carts can do 25MB/s random q1 at all times - so that's sorta nice, but NAND carts can't (also NAND carts will eventually die) and 25MB/s sucks for sequential since a decent MicroSD can do that at 160MB/s+ (though switch tops out at 100MB/s for SD - still 4x faster)

The fucking Deck, which is seen as a niche product, has a much more modest screen, and even the luxury Deck options with OLED screens don't have the same resolution and refresh rate.
What was Nintendo thinking, raising the specs like this? You see it in everything else, the idea of high tech and premium product (even with fucking steel buttons generating a fancy magnetic locking system) makes the Switch 2 seem like the luxury option for the hardcore gamer who takes things very seriously, when we know that Nintendo's products are more for casual fun.

In short: Nintendo will realize its mistake and overhaul the hardware soon, severely reducing the cost and final "quality", making it more in line with what the average consumer expects.

I don't think that's the Switch's main audience, but it was definitely something more casual. And I personally think that was the Switch's strongest point. I have a decent PC, so I don't see any reason to have a PS5 or Xbox, but I have a Switch too, it's a handheld with a price that I consider acceptable, where I can play some Japanese games or things that I don't usually have on PC, sometimes even paying cheaply for games by exploring the sales.
The Switch 2 doesn't seem to occupy the same niche. It's an expensive product with expensive games that's trying to offer a more sophisticated experience. Honestly, the Switch 1 seems more interesting to me at the moment, and I'll only see the Switch 2 again if Nintendo makes a lite version...
