The gameplay loop is severely undercooked.
The game wasn't fast enough to have the move-play of warframe, but it did have enough environments and abilities to allow for more tactical but mobile gameplay, yet they forced you to fight hordes in small corridors for most of the content. Bosses are either quickly killed allowing you to avoid the mechanics, or you gear yourself so well that the latter occurs anyway.
There are large open areas which don't get much use, even though they function as a soft counter to overpowered characters.
That's another issue; some characters are too strong for the content they are deployed in. A lot of the game benefits high AoE characters that move fast, and because of this, you just end up running through an area instantly killing everything without much engagement. In addition to that, liveservice power-creep meant that past areas were no longer as useful, meaning you would be grinding a lot of the same repetitive content (I loved, but got burnt out on Void Vessel because of this).

Basically, the games environments and character play actually reduce combat engagement because 1 player can AoE down everything; the bosses can be virtually 1-shot with the right setup, and playing the game properly means grinding the same mission 10-100 times.

This could be reversible, but the devs haven't done it yet so I'm going to take a break.

Devs tried to backpedal and legitimately attempt to fix the game because it was bleeding players but is too late. The remaining gooners don't want any semblance of balance and want the game to remain overly brain dead easy and add more sex. Content creators are leaving and the devs don't know what to do anymore.

The recent reviews are from "people" angry that a blatantly broken character got nerfed. She was able to hide and attack behind walls completely safe from harm and clear entire rooms in a few seconds. Now she needs line of sight, which is completely normal in any other video game but these "people" claim the character is now unusable and are demanding refunds or review bombing.

I played the tutorial and got an incredibly janky-feeling third person hero looter shooter game that couldn't even do a competent dub despite all its graphics budget, and then got thrown into a hub town with a dozen menus to try to awkwardly sift through as the game was immediately peddling monetization on me as soon as it possibly could, because Nexon. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the rug out and revealed how greedy they really are to the bigger playerbase, as they always do, and no one wanted to tolerate it this time.

permanent item droprate was calculated apart from the most common and temporary items

So most thought it was 10% perm, 90% temporary, nope.

It was 99.9999% temporary and 0.0001% permanent, we discovered their trick, addressed it, they censored and banned us for telling lies.

We tested their deal with some whales and it was 0.0001%

The only items who had real droprate % were from boxes released in between 2018 & 2019 before chink lunar year anniversary, the moment they released pig skinned weapons the droprate got worse, they somehow balanced it by giving us 1 out 100 boxes, dropate % was real as I got different perm items through 50 pulls, could not sell the items

Game ended into Valofe ends, we can sell the items, but since old items now got a rarity system, if we want to sell gold or diamond rarity items, we have to pay them 20$ minimum to sell it through steam marketplace, otherwise we cannot trade or sell it.

That's kind of pathetic for people to be defending that because even in the preview it was obvious the character was broken beyond belief. My biggest issue with TFD is we're nearly at the 1 year mark without a single solid game mode. If you want to even try to do anything you have to sift through menus looking for the place that drops the 1 part of the thing you need then go there then do it probably a dozen times then go to the next thing. The bones are there for this game to be decent. TFD has big boss code, fantastic networking from what I experienced, obviously high fidelity, mod system, customization. It just has no fucking content! And the enemies and balance are fucked it's so unfinished the only thing I could think of is that they don't even have proper tools yet to make content. Like where is the horde mode? The multi-stage bombastic defense with big boss waves?
What's crazy is the TFD team managed to get Nexon to pull back many times on monetization refunding people over and over in the process. These devs can't deliver content though, not poopsock 12h raid content, like any content at all. It's baffling to keep checking in on the game and see nothing was added but a quest area you have to repeat 20 times or something to get a dog pet or a recolored boss or a room with a platform you stand on to like shoot a colored enemy. wtf.
