I don't know what the fuck a Wuxia or Xianxia is but I know these games would sell like hotcakes in the west if you just made the combat nice. Personally it's because the focus on spirits and gods and mythology takes away from the important human elements that makes wuxia interesting. The Condor Heroes or Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is more my speed vs Thousand Peach Tree Mile for example.
