Considering programming one from scratch? The hardware architecture doesn't look to be emulator friendly like the Switch 1 and there's currently no framework for emulating DLSS(let alone whatever proprietary closed box shit Nvidia came up for the Switch 2), and that's not counting all the roadblocks Nintendo put in place like always-online devkits, real time encryption, Denuvo(unconfirmed), malicious litigation against dev teams etc

We'll honestly be extremely lucky if we get one in five years, it could easily be twice that. Getting a unit and installing CFW will probably be the short term solution for a while

If you're American you've probably never had this experience yet but just to fill you in, for countries that have tariffs on consumer products you get stopped at customs when re-entering after an international flight and they go through your suitcase so they can tariff whatever shit you brought with you. Keep your receipts or they'll pull some unrealistically high base price out of their ass, also there's typically a fine if you didn't declare it beforehand
