They don't run at the max clock speed in everything anon. The PS5 has Zen 2 running at 3.5GHz, and Qualcomm have run the A78C at 3GHz, which would be enough to outperform a 3.5GHz Zen 2 given the IPC difference while using less power.
Obviously we don't know for sure where Nintendo are clocking the thing but that "mobile hardware" is certainly capable of being competitive with desktops if they want it to be.

Anything under $500 is fine for a console. The last time I bought a console was the Switch, 8 years ago, so if the Switch 2 lasts another 5-8 years that price is acceptable to me. The majority of countries can't consume on the same amount that the US do, the trade balance will never be 0 or positive for the US, because they just consume way more than the rest of the world, and they have more buying power than the rest of the world.

I get that there's some strategic benefit to being robust on domestic manufacturing but the reality is that anything the US doesn't manufacture directly for war-time could be offloaded to Mexico or Canada very easily. Like, the entire NA triumvirate was easily one of the strongest global economic blocs in the world before these retards broke it. If there was any concern about China being able to rout us by cutting off supply chains, it's hard to imagine they'd be able to cut us off from our northern and southern neighbors' economic and manufacturing capacity
