It's very good. My biggest complaint about it is the over reliance on the le mannequin is actually alive jumpscare that got old after the third time.

Hell no, those camera angles were there for a reason, and getting rid of every single one means they didn't give a fuck about being authentic to the original.

Original is better, period. The ONLY thing good about the remake is the combat is better, however even that is ruined because the #1 bad thing about it is the bloated length leading to you getting tired of the combat before the end. Its so needlessly drawn out that I was literally begging for the game to end when I got to the hotel and I've heard from many other people they felt the same. Just play the original. Its only a few hours long and you can easily find how to get it running on PC if you make a post on Anon Babble or Anon Babble horror thread asking for it.
