I would buy GTA 6 even if it was $200. You pay more for a steak at a high end restaurant than you do at a Red Lobster. In other words, quality craftsmanship has always warranted a higher price tag why should be gaming be any different? This will be a once per decade game.

What is the actual to buy gta? I think because it is a huge open world game where you can do SO MANY SHIT. I was suprised with totk, but that is because of the physics. I liked the incredible attention to detail of ff7 rebirth.

Most AAA games have been doing this in a less direct way. $70 for just the base game, $85 for the game plus skins, $100-$120 for those plus a season pass of content they just cut out to finish later and you play early for ~3 days. I think the vast majority of companies will just stick to this route because they fully know they aren't in any way able to match GTA's ability to demand that price. That said, you're likely going to get some companies like Ubisoft trying it once or twice before going back to the old way when it bites them in the ass.

Even then, I'm kind of skeptical they'll do it for GTA. Sure, they can do it and get away with it, but it's in their best interest not to. For something like GTA where they make way more selling in-game currency, having the looming reminder of "I paid $100 for the base game" is definitely going to make the average person second guess forking extra money over for digital currency.
