Who's your character?
I've been enjoying tinkering Metalmorph variations. It's really just one negate, Bystials and maybe some backrows but the spell/monster effect protection on Fullmetal Dragon is nice.
The real issue with lab is that it technically just dies to a single ash for most of it's hands so either you play it alongside other engines or you just go full Power-Traps that can win a turn on their own like equation or daruma.

The metalmorph stuff looks fun but I don't have any dragon decks. Maybe I should just buy the Dragonmaid structure deck and use it in that. Pure Metalmorph also looks kinda fun but I don't want to craft 3 of the UR mirror guy when I know it'll be shit regardless.

Bystials are the ideal target for it, I wanna get primite so I can fight all these blue eyes players with the red-eyes equivilant.
The cheapest way to go about it is Black Metal Dragon, one copy of darkness metal from the structure deck and just going black>striker>darkness>spheres, get a metalmorph for next turn and spheres turns into tribute fodder. This is off your normal summon so lotta room.
I play one of the mirror guy just because If I feel like running an ungodly 60 card metalmorph pile he can turn into a Light Fiend
