I only know like 3 people IRL who have played this game (2 have beaten it, the last guy is a bit of a casual and only has like 10ish hours on it on Steam) but they're all willing to die for it now. I haven't seen this amount of fanaticism in relatively normal people for a while.
And these people aren't hardcore JRPG enthusiasts either so it's weird to see them enjoy this game so much.

Oblivion was my entry into the TES series and the only game I played for a long stretch of adolescence because my parents were poor. I loved the shit out of that game but probably won't buy the Remaster until there are a bunch of worthwhile mods because I already played ever living fuck out of it. All my knowledge of TES lore comes from 11 year old me doing everything possible in that game and getting bored and reading all of the books too.

Make a solid game with cunny and you win all. That's honestly the lost formula.

I thought the box art with the skeleton was pretty metal, it was the game itself that felt really faggy.

Avowed was genuinely a bad game. There were maybe bones there for a good one but it needed more time in the oven, which I'm assuming they couldn't afford (reminded of Halo Infinite)
And I gave it a chance, played it through to the end. Like an hour in and you've basically seen the whole game, it doesn't get better.
