It's genuinely written well and has engrossing characters, so a lot of people approach it for shock value or a cheap fap and end up deeply invested. Truth be told, the main draw of the game is the acerbic and self-destructive nature of Andrew and Ashley's relationship and uncovering how things possibly became this bad rather than the incest.
