in america the switch 2 is the most expensive one. sony put the ps5 down to $399(with astro bot, the actual game not the tech demo) recently, the disc model was $449 but with astro bot so the same price as the switch 2 but with a game. the xbox series is goes on sale for $199 or less and the series x has been $299 or so iirc.

1) The build quality of their hardware is atrocious, stick drifting and unuseable d-pad on the expensive switch pro controller for eg.
2) They don't make games inhouse anymore. They outsource almost everything, and the quality of those games has fallen off a cliff.
