Our reaction fellow pirates?
Denovo has Doom
It's like Indiana Jones? It requires raytracing?
Yes
don't care doom wads are free
Welcome to Unreal 5.
not gonna buy that dogshit
but the impact on ID5(6?) would be interesting to see
As a pirate that isn't big on the pirate philosophy, I actually think denovo is somewhat a good thing. It prevents more permanent DRM from being invented/adopted and at some point companies just drop denovo because it's a subscription service and then we get the cracked game like a year or two later. I don't particularly care about getting games on release day since so many of them are buggy nowadays
Looks okay, save for the 32GB RAM req.
Not buying. Not playing.
Simple as.
big "hello fellow kids" energy
denuvo is fucking AIDS you nigger
still no mod to replace demons with vtubers
ask again later
It's their own engine dumbass
I actually only have 16 and I really don't feel like opening my laptop
lol yeah like if I could choose to be God and just wish Denuvo disappeared from the world, sure I would make it so, but it's much better than some of the permanent DRM that some games adopted that are much more intrusive
They're using ray tracing for hit detection so it's mandatory and older cards won't work
Name games that lost denovo
It's not unreal 5 retard
I have a 4060 I'm thinking it will run Like ass
Why does it need a nvme vs a sata ssd? And why 512GB?
ray tracing for hit detection
what?...... what the fuck?
this is obviously just graphics card shilling bullshit
Tons of games that had Denuvo later removed Denuvo. It's pretty much exclusively Atlus and Sega that keep Denuvo and never take it off. I know this because I pirated 99% of my games.
Doom Eternal????????????
NVME REQUIRED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Post the games that did
Denuvo is a good warning label for bait-and-switch games that aren't worth your time. Their launches are almost entirely performative for shareholders and are usually incredibly dishonest, often making sure that there are no informative reviews before the game has already launched.
Denuvo is shit and preys on shareholder misunderstanding of the value of DRM. You don't need more than simple DRM to deter opportunists and that's if you need DRM at all.
Denuvo mainly hurts the legitimate customer.
Oh but piracy
Piracy only affects bad businesses. There is usually something inherently wrong with a company or industry if it is complaining about piracy.
I don't think it would change much if you had 64, any game that runs on more than 8GB RAM has got a RAM leak.
Final Fantasy 16, Resident Evil Village, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
it's a common practice it's just not guaranteed and often takes years, Denuvo is still a fucking pain in the ass
Post the games that did
Deaths Tranding
ctrl+f "sour grapes"
Denuvo mainly hurts the legitimate customer.
well that's good because I am not a legitimate customer. You can bet that if suddenly a wave of new crackers popped up out of nowhere and started cracking denuvo en masse, something way way worse would pop up and corporations wouldn't just throw up their hands and go "welp, we tried"
PC gaming became too mainstream and people are now shocked that their systems is obsolete, sorry buddy but the 3060 ti is considered low end now, not midrange like when you bought it, accept that and move on with your life, maybe upgrade if you care about the latest and greatest games so much
reddit.com
lol smugtard
Just buy a $1 offline account if you want to play Denuvoslop so badly
Actually I don't think gaming can survive without piracy.
The popularity of gaming is based on having a large player base and kids have no money.
No piracy +expensive PCs will finally save men from the gaming addiction.
You will not get into gaming at 20 when you finally have a job.
didn't they remove that easter egg almost at once?
that's why fp2 online games that run on 10 year old potatoes exist. it's where all the poorfags gather.
anyway you can probably get used computer for like 100 bucks that fills the requirements for this game. it's half decade old parts..
nudoom
load it up with all the spyware you want
my pc probably can't run in anyway
oooh noooo I'm not going to play a watered down sequel to a watered down sequel to a watered down reboot by unrelated devs ohhhh nooooooo truly woe is me
raytracing for hit detection
Hitscan has been a thing since forever.
Weren't the last two Dooms complete shit? Why would anyone care about this one?
Also isn't this the one with Beat Saber mechanic bosses?
Yeah, it was such a strange thing to do. All i can think is that it was one single person who put it in, and didn't ask permission, and someone got pissy about it so they had to remove it.
It's pretty much exclusively Atlus and Sega that keep Denuvo and never take it off.
And it's because of some contract shenanigans from before Denuvo went strict subscribtion mode iirc.
If not for that their games would get rid of Denuvo after a year like everyone's else.
Denuvo sucks but it's honestly great seeing devs and publishers have to suffer the same subscription cancer scam that they have been spreading around for years now.
Zoomzooms liked it.
upgrading my comfy 3060ti
nice try jensen
Disregarding how they actually play (Anon Babble has daily shitfit threads about this, I like them both personally) they sell well enough
