I hate how overdesigned the humans look. I miss the "chill hat kid" design from the 2000s. It's a simple design that looks cool. Early Red/Early Ash is still the best design for these type of monster battle series.

you do the same encounter 20 more times

every single one has a DEF main stat

you finally catch one that has an ATK main stat

all the substats are DEF and HP when you want crit rate and crit dmg

the story difficulty is so piss easy though that you can breeze through it with a 4 star DEF main stat hoyomon

you reach endgame

suddenly you need perfect stats and perfect substats for your hoyomon

you can roll for trainers who are either hot chicks or hot guys

you want a trainer that doubles your fire hoyomon damage

then if you roll for 6 copies of her she'll increase your fire hoyomon damage by 1000000%

you need to keep rolling for the new trainers every time if you want to stay relevant in endgame

ah yes, the hoyomon will be just the artifact from their other game, actualy make sense and kinda genius, but fuck this shit

you need to have 5 hoyomon in your team, all have an element, a class, have main stats and sub stats that are random, so you gotta catch 'em all, 200 times, and you need to farm materials to level them up, you roll for the trainers who give passive bonuses, and they also have some mumbo jumbo item, like a hoyodex, that also gives extra passives and stuff, you roll for the trainers and the hoyodex, and you farm materials to level them up too, at least this is the system that I would imagine hoyo would do when considering the systems in their other games
