WoW and all of its clones are trash and ruined the genre

the genre was never good

Pre-NGE Galaxies was unironically a far better Star Wars experience than this slop.

People don't play MMO's for cinematic scripted content.

its the last hurrah for classic bioware writing, namely sith warrior and imperial agent

star wars

Mass Effect 3 was alright except for the endings.

It WAS a good Star Wars game, the vanilla stories at least.
However, it was the worst KOTOR successor one could hope for.

No love for the Sith Inquisitor?

2nd worst story after Consular

Mass Effect 3 was alright except for the endings.

Bullshit. The plot was a disaster right from the opening of the game. The new characters like Steve 'Fag' Cortez were fucking awful. The graphics were ass for their time. The only positive about the entire game was the multiplayer mode.

Best female voice actor though - I would have let her crush my balls in her fist while insulting my manhood, if you catch my drift.

I've always found MMORPG's extremely boring.

The last hurrah for classic bioware writing was Mass Effect 1. Electronic Arts took over with Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2, turning them into movie slop.

Mass Effect 3 was alright except for the endings.

Wasn't female Trooper voiced by femshep? kek

it's an awfull MMO but I still enjoyed my time with it

The Sith Inquisitor's story is not strictly "bad" but it's bad for what it's supposed to be.
Like the classes ar archetypes, yeah. Smuggler is Han, JK is Luke, SW is Vader.

The class story doesn't have to be 1:1 what they do in the movies, but it should have the same vibe or flavour. SI is Palps but theirs not deception or subversion (why the SW makes a jedi fall to the darkside but the SI doesn't is a fucking meme for the ags) or politicing, you're just a space archologist.

It really wasn't, the endings were just so bad they made people forget everything else that was bad about it. Remember Kai Leng?

Its basically a single player game nowadays

Its still good
Thinking about making a new BH with red crome color armor because they added crome colors some time ago apparently and depending on the armor they look sick af. Can also look like leather on black

I just played it recently and it was trash, you spend most of it preparing to fight someone who wants to kill you for really flimsy reasons then you're given his seat on the council just because.

Speaking of Smuggler, that one had the absolute best Act I out of all classes. It's a shame the writing took a steep nosedive right in the beginning of the 2nd chapter

It's pretty good actually
Story and plot are definitely worth going through and even the MMO part is not that bad (mainly because of the very friendly community that is typical for such dead mmos)

The real reason for my hatred of it is because it came at the expense of KOTOR 3. I can't enjoy it without thinking about how much better it could have been if it was more focused and dedicated to a single player RPG in line with some of my favorite games KOTOR 1/2.

Pozzed game
Pozzed franchise
Pozzed developer

It is. I’m just tired of being forced to group up with creatures that look like La Atrocidad on video games
It’s genuinely concerning how wetbacks managed to ruin even the most obscure online multiplayer games.

The only "good" things are the storylines for the different classes. But you can play them solo, like a soloplayer game. Everything else is shit.

star wars is just plain terrible boomer slop

It has its charm but its not very good if you play it as an MMO, only recommended for star wars fans and even then its not for everyone

It was fine, stories were good and the music was amazing. It just wasn't as good as Vanilla wow was in 2005 and for that reason alone it's considered to be shit by most millenials.

Too little sith pureblood only content.

Overpromised

made by morons

made on an engine that wasn't completed for 5 years after the game released

Overall standard BioWare/EA product.

MMO aspect suffers from being a Bioware storygame, Bioware storygame aspect suffers from being an MMO.

It fell off drastically. But for me I don't think I really like MMO's anymore. After finishing all the class stories and expansions, it's just very a boring game which devolves into only grinding operations, reputation, or achievements.
This game should not even have lasted as long it has for a declining live service game. Especially since they can't be bothered to make an effort to improve anything about it with all they time they have.

That’s not even true
The game has a ton of MMO content
But as usual, if you go into group finder people act like passive aggressive twerps who throw tantrums and don’t want to actually make friends anymore so the raiding scene was always slim in SWTOR
Which is a shame because the raids and dungeons themselves are just as good as wow, there just aren’t as many. And I think the game is in its twilight years just like wow even though every time I say that they get another update…

Wow still has all those 40somethings trying to recapture the feeling of playing with their friends in the 00s and not realizing why it's gone, SWTOR was never as big so it doesn't have that. It definitely is in its twilight years now, they released part of an expansion in 2022 and never finished it.

Servicable (when makes sense for a team starting out) is more correct. I played the first raid current and it's basically MC tier.
