This is actually an interesting but puzzling spin, because I can't even imagine a title lasting that long with so many prior and subsequent goofs.

If I'm being loose about the evaluation maybe something like Dynasty Warriors, but I feel most know what they're in for.

I've heard people claim DMC1 is the only good one, I can understand that for personal tastes but Kamiya himself said 4's gameplay inspired him to make Bayonetta, and likely Scalebound.
That said, 4's recycled campaign progress and certain aspects of storytelling aren't great but it's not much of a detriment. You could count DMC2 and base DmC though, but as much reservation I have with Tameem's antics the Definitive Edition was an attempt at improvement. Though I heard someone claim some of the effort was lifted from mods.

I haven't kept up with the series after 3rd Gen but this one I could believe fits, just from reputation.
DYKG mentioned their code for Red and Green was so crude Iwata, who wasn't even part of Gamefreak, had to repeatedly get involved with handling it.
Not counting games developed by others and published by TPC I'm sure one of their games in the series must be more stable than the rest but likely not from a concentrated effort to make it so.
