These bans can affect your ability to upload screenshots, workshop items or comment for weeks or months and if you have any previous bans it will automatically lengthen your current ban up to a certain threshold determined by how many times you've been banned and for how long (even if you were banned 5+ years ago for something completely different) and it's basically impossible to appeal it because the same fag that banned you is often the one you appeal it to and it's mostly automated anyway so if something you uploaded gets spam reported or a mod personally dislikes you for some reason good fucking luck getting unbanned.
