Borderlands 3 was the only game where I changed the entire game's language to escape how fucking offensively dogshit garbage the writing was. So probably not, no.

Loot seems like an improvement from the previous game at least. Characters, I'm not too sure about. They haven't really showcase their quips or story so far. They are probably saving that for the June showcase. Depending on how annoying they are will decide if I check out Borderlands 4 or not.

Borderlands has always been simple "brain off" fun to me, so I'll probably enjoy it regardless unless they really, really fuck it up.

Surface textures. There are tens of thousands of high def images that the game puts on every surface to try and create a more realistic looking game world. They can't be compressed without risking pop-in issues.
Whether or not I play this game depends ENTIRELY on if there is a dialogue skip button.

I will 70% play this game 3 years after its release when it goes on sale for $7.
I don't think I'll even try BL4 if characters are talking about random shit in my ear over the echo recorder. Ava was such a good example of this with two characters screaming about random shit drives me insane.

I'm actually surprised they didn't sequel hook him in the movie.
It's only fitting that they would be as forward thinking as the Disney Star Wars trilogy and the game series itself (ie not at all, and the sequel seems completely disjointed and unrelated to anything that came before).
They made the playable siren a bit hotter from the initial reveal trailer.

Believe it or not, but even though I'm in my 30s and have been into videogames my entire life. I have never seen gameplay of any Borderlands game before. Only ever still screenshots.
But I saw some gameplay footage of Borderlands 4. And to my eyes it felt reminiscent of the first Halo games.
But I have never heard or seen anyone compare Borderlands with Halo before so I'm assuming that I'm just dead wrong. Am I?
