Writing is fucking easy. Well, the beats you need to hit to write a good narrative are easy to follow. Writing something unique and good is difficult, but writing something generic and good isn't. It takes work like everything else does, but just because laying a brick wall or building a terrace is work doesn't mean it's hard. It's just work. Meanwhile, we have writers subverting expectations by building brick walls with giant holes in them or terraces that can't support more than their own weight. I guess it's true, my expectations WERE subverted when the terrace collapsed under me as soon as I stepped onto it. Not in a good way though.

Do you suffer dyscalculia? Up until they reunite with Maelle, every cutscene contains several slurs. Thereafter the writer continues misp(l)acing profanity. What irks me the most about it: the writer could have made up in-universe slurs instead -- or just about any other expression of disbelief, shock or anger.
Deploying real life slurs in a game that isn't set in the real world is just as bad as hamfisting real life ideologies and politics into it. Mixing languages for the sake of slur variety is doubly inappropriate, especially if the VAs can't even pronounce/intonate one of the languages.

In short: just a tiny bit of effort would improve the writing (and worldbuilding).

The game has an amazing OST and talented VAs. The writing is utter dogshit. The rest of the game and its presentation is average and forgetable. Any game aggressively shilled on release and in the first month thereafter is minimally viable, generic slop, that's neither worth buying/pirating/playing and only rarely if evet worth watching as cutscene-movie -- in other words: anyone who shills it should be busy playing it instead, if it was any good.
