You can be a fan of his character design and maybe some constant aspects of him, like his powers or his quips, just like you can be a fan of Cloud’s design and his buster sword.
But the question then is, if you enjoy a character’s design and traits so much to call yourself a fan, then surely you’ve engaged with some form of larger material involving that character, right?
